OK, I’ll Play Tag!

Published by at 11 29 pm under Chit Chat

I have never played Blog Tag before, but I will today. I have been tagged numerous times since Ive begun Blogging, but I have ignored them all (hanging my head in shame Im sorry!). When I started my Blog, I had a very clear vision for it 100% stamping and paper crafts nothing else!!! EVER!!! So, why am I playing today, you ask? Well, I was tagged with the same game twice within the last 2 days, and I figure I CAN play THIS tag game by keeping it within my original guidelines of staying 100% in the realm of stamping and paper crafting so, here goes: I was tagged by Debbie Olson (debbiedesigns/Thinking Inking) and by Jennifer Buck (The Buck Stamps Here).

Here are the rules:
1. Link to your tagger (see above), and also post these rules on your blog.
2. Share seven facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag seven people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

OK, here are my 7 facts:

  1. I have always enjoyed writing, and I think thats why I enjoy Blogging so much.
  2. It drives me absolutely crazy when I discover that I have published a post with a typographical error!!!!
  3. I prefer to stamp alone and in complete silence. I can NOT create/design with another person near me and/or talking to me I dont even try!!!
  4. I wish I had taken some art classes in high school, but I had absolutely no interest then.
  5. I wish I could color, which maybe I could had I taken those art classes LOL!!!
  6. I work better with a clean work surface and organized space, but it often isnt that way!
  7. I am absolutely AMAZED (truly amazed) at the level of tolerance my DH has for the great amount of time I spend in my stamp room and/or at this computer what a guy, huh? Or gee, maybe hes just happy that Im not bugging him!!!

Sorry everyone, but thats about as interesting as it gets around here! I honestly dont know who to tag. I think this game has been going around for quite some time and many may have played it already, but Ill tag the following. If you dont want to play, I understand completely. Here they are:

  1. Kay Kalthoff/Speedystamper/Stamping toShare
  2. Angel Rivera/Angela R/Angels World
  3. Stephanie/Smilyn Stef/Ingenious Inkling
  4. Tobi Crawford/Jazzytobi/Tobi’s Place

OK, thats it Im tagging these 4. I have spent WAY too much time going through Blogs to see if the writers have played this game so many have just recently played it; however, if anyone reading this wants to play, just consider this YOUR tag. Let me know and Ill add you to the list!

  1. Sharon, I am totally with you on all of these, especially #2, #3, and #6!!! I thought I was the ONLY one that preferred to stamp alone!

I am so happy to have found you blogging. I lovve your creations! Its interesting to find stampers who are soloists, like me. I’m still a newbie stamper after two years of SCS but my goal is to learn how to use the digital camera, upload and start my gallery. Someday. 😀

Thanks for sharing your creativity with us all.

Sharon, I prefer e-mailing to phoning, and I prefer typing to writing (I type so much faster). I’m totally with you on 2 (must be the secretary in us) and I always try to find a way to get back in and edit it; I’m totally with you on 3, except I’m not a designer, but I love to color; my high school didn’t offer art classes (a very small community); although I would enjoy taking a watercolor class now; I work much better with a clean area; but alas, I also like everything within arm’s reach, which doesn’t make for a tidy surface; at first my husband felt neglected, but now he realizes how much I love stamping, I think he feels like a stamping widower.

    Thanks for the tag.

Gosh, Sharon, I can so relate to pretty much everything you said here. A clean work surface, stamping alone, tolerant husband, wishing I’d taken art classes… I’ve been tagged, too, but I’m running out of those 7 things at a time to share. A sad state of affairs! Can I just copy and paste what you wrote onto my blog? Just kidding… Thanks for sharing these tidbits about yourself!

    Hi Sharon –
You’re so sweet to tag me! Thank you so much! But, I’m soooo swamped! I barely have time to stamp let along check out a lot of blogs to see who has and who hasn’t played. Two of my three girls are assembling science fair projects this week and since I’m the mom with all the supplies, I volunteered to have everyone assemble at my house. Five giggling girls (3teens/2 pre-teens) will be here and somehow I will have to keep everyone on task so I don’t end up doing it for them! Wish me luck!!!

Hey Sharon, thanks for tagging me! You and Sara must have tagged me around the same time, so I just did my *7 things about me* post today. I took art my senior year to have an easy class and loved it! My teacher tried to talk me into taking art in college, which had I gone, probably would have. Oh well!! Oh, and I love your scrapbook pages! Your ladies are going to, too!!

No wonder we are friends. I am a #2, #3, #4, #6 and almost a #7, but we have a rule in our home……no computer after 8:00 p.m. The rest of the evening is for Denny and I to share together 🙂 We love to read and just chat together even after 42 years! Happy stamping….alone, Nancy

I’m with you on the lone stamper thing. Whenever I go to my upline meetings, I usually stamp a little, and bring the rest home to finish. I did the same thing when I went to Regionals in Lansing last year.
