Confessions
Yes, confessions — of a badBlogger — and that would be me! I so love posting here and hearing from all of you – so many of you regulars, I really feel like I know you — and it’s MY pleasure!!! I try real hard to keep up with all of you — oh, but I fail so dismally — there just are not enough hours in a day!!! You are all so very kind — and that kindness extends beyond comments and emails — it flows over into games and awards and things of that nature — and I have received so very, very many in the past several weeks that I have not properly acknowledged or *played back* — tag games, Awards of Excellence, and You Make My Day Awards — you are all familiar. When the first couple came in a few weeks ago, as I am reading them in the wee hours of the morning, it is so easy to think *I’ll do it tomorrow* — well, we all know how that goes — then a few more come in — and I now find myself with something over 20+ games and awards that I haven’t *played back*, and Irealize I am in over my head, so it’s time to just say THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!and I’m so sorry I was a poor sport and didn’t playback immediately.
Asfar asthe YOU MAKE MY DAY Awards — well, let me tell you, each and every one of you MAKE MY DAY each and every day as you stop in and give me the encouragement to keep on creating and sharing —
As far as the AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE— well, there are so many excellent Blogs out there and so many excellent stampers and paper crafters — and I think we all know that as we could easily spend all of our waking hours cruising the Blogs and Galleries —
So, to play back, I’ve come up with a different idea as a combined response to all I have received —
Today, let us honor the BRAND NEW BLOGGERS — and I know there are a lot of you out there as I discover new Blogs every day. Let us all lend some encouragement to those who are just starting their Blogs. So please, if you are a brand newBlogger OR a Blogger who has been around awhile and arejust having a hard time getting going, POST YOUR BLOG LINK as a comment and I’d love to take a peek at what you have to share, and I’m willing to bet there are a lot of others out there who’d like to see what you’re up to as well! I have discovered so many true gems with brand new or under-read Blogs!!! I think this will be fun!!!
(You are certainly welcome to still leave a comment even if you don’t have a Blog to link!)
And I am way overdue to provide all of you wonderful folks with some BLOG CANDY!!! I’m headed to do that right when I’m done here, so it’ll be posted shortly in a separate post – I want to keep these posts separate.
Oh, one more thing!!! Did you know the SCS Elves in Canada are STILL working? Last week I received a wonderful Elf package from Canada. I thought Elves hibernate or something after Christmas??? LOL!!! It’s a wonderful tin filled with all sorts of goodies — GORGEOUS crystals, and Bellas and some adorable acrylic stamps, to name a few!!! Thank you so much, whoever you are!!! (And if you’d care to reveal yourself, I’d love to know!!!) THANK YOU!!!

Sharon, the fantastic cards you post on a regular basis are fantastic and so inspiring to us, plus I so appreciate your references to Bible verses and gentle sharing of your faith. Yay for new bloggers! I’ve been blogging for years but switched to an almost all-craft blog about a year ago. I love surfing around and discovering new blogs. Not even necessarily new, just ones I’d never seen before. It’s almost like getting a little gift, don’t you think?

I have a brand new blog that I started on Feb 1st! I have been a voyeur on SCS for about a year and a half and enjoying everyone else’s blogs. I was a little scared to try it myself… Technically could I do it (yep – it was easy) – is my stuff good enough (well if I love it that is all that really matters right?) I started my blog with 14 Valentine Tags for my SIL and BFF – she had a rough year in 2007 with health issues and I wanted to cheer her up with 14 days of surprises and to give her something to look forward to. Altering tags was new to me – I mostly work in cards and small mini albums/scrapbooks (not 12×12).
