10 Minute Tuesday
LOVE this 10 minute card — and you know why — I used something I NEVER, and I mean NEVER, use — stickers!!! YES, that gorgeous floral image is a Penny Black sticker. I had received a full sheet of stickers as a gift about 1 1/2 years ago and never touched them until today — oh, what fun!!! Talk about GORGEOUS images and talk about quick!!!
This card fits a small open end envelope by SU. It measures 3 1/4 x 6 1/2″. My sticker panel is cut, embossed and scallop matted with the Long Rectangle Nestabilities by Spellbinders. The rest is just layering of paper — can’t get much easier!!! I checked the Penny Black website and I don’t see the sticker sheet I used, but they sure do have a lot of nice ones — you can see them here. (Editing: That was the Penny Black site — I did find my sticker sheet here at a retail site. Gosh, these are only $2 – $2.50 a sheet, depending where you find them — tons of places pop up on a Google search, and the sheets are filled with gorgeous images!!!)
- Stamps: None — Sticker sheet by Penny Black
- Paper: PTI White, SU Elegant Eggplant, Basic Grey DP
- Ink: None (sticker used)
- Accessories: Long Rectangle Nestabilities by Spellbinders
And you WILL see some more sticker cards coming from me — OH, what a cheater!!!!
And before you go, my friend, Julie Koerber, is in the running to be the Paper Crafts Gallery Idol winner — YES, she is in the top five!!! How exciting!!! Her card as well as instructions on how to vote can be seen on Julie’s Blog — please check out her card and take a minute to vote!!! I’m so proud of Julie!!!! Her work is FABULOUS!!!
Thank you so much for stopping in!!! I truly do appreciate your visits and hope you can check back in again — I’m trying to pick up my stamp room, so you never know what I may find and use!!! Wishing you all a wonderful week!!!

oooo’ sticker or not, this is GORGEOUS! I’ve always loved Penny Black stickers and back in the day, before Prismas and Copics, I was always seeking a way to make my coloring look like that! lol
Sharon, you crack me up! When I first saw this, I was like, WOW, Sharon made those Copics sing last night! And then I read your post and was cracking up. Cheater, indeed, you are so funny! I’ve got to check out those stickers, this is GORGEOUS! The leaves on this sticker are very similar to the colors I use when watercoloring, now let’s see if I can pick up any tips.
Beautiful Sharon!
LOL Sharon ~ You are too funny…I too thought…Wow that Sharon can sure color!!! Yes you are a cheater, but on the other hand, look at that beautiful card 🙂
I have used the Penny Black florals on many sympathy cards and they are quick and look great. Thank you for reminding me I have several.
Beautiful card! I LOVE Penny Black stickers. My mom and I have been using them for cards for years. Just way too easy to add a beautiful image a sentiment and done. Watch out — they might get addictive in a pinch!! 🙂 Thanks for the shout out about the contest! You’re the best!
Wow I will head over to Penny Black and order some of these stickers, she makes my favorite stickers and as I can see it made a beautiful card. Love that ! I did an easy peasy for your challenge. Pat

Hey, 10 minutes–that’s what it’s all about! If you can make something this gorgeous in 10 minutes, sticker or stamping, I say, “go for it”! I’ll bet you had fun and you made a beautiful card.
This is SO pretty! I might have to bust out some stickers and see what I can do!
Sticker? Really? It looks so much like a stamped image! Really pretty card!
Very cool, Sharon. It really looks like something you colored…beautiful. I voted.
Love those Penny Black stickers. They have beautiful floral and holiday images to chose from. I have some I keep handy for a real quick card in a pinch. Isn’t it fun to “shop” our supply stash and find goodies like this? I am in the middle of cleaning up my stamping room so who knows what will turn up! Found a pile of great Halloween paper so far so I am a happy girl.
