Heres myproject for todays challenge:

I opted to stamp on faux ribbon. I made my ribbon by inserting the ends of my strip into the corner of the Photo Corner Punch by SU — a perfect ribbon end!!! My sentiment is stamped using one of the 2X stampers by JustRite. It’s a small pre-inked stamper — it stamps well and surely served the purpose!! Speaking of JustRite — did you know there is a HUGE sale over there? Click here.) My mittens are from Scandinavian Season and I strung them together with wire. I haven’t used wire on a card is AGES!!! Just a simple little card, but I LOVE these warm and cozy mittens!!!

Stamps: Scandinavian Season by SU, and 2X pre-inked stamper by JustRite Paper: SU Real Red, Black, White, Ski Slope DP Ink: Versa Mark and Black Accessories: White Embossing Powder, Ticket Corner Punch, Wire, Brads, Photo Corner Punch

Thanks so much for stopping in — hope you get to play sometime if that is your intent!!! Wishing you all a wonderful weekend — we are getting some more blustery winter weather!!!

Really cute card, I love the twisted wire holding the mittens. Well I didn’t stamp on ribbon but used pre-stamped ribbon. I have stamped on ribbon before and think it’s an awesome way to say it easily. Pat

Hi Sharon: Here’s my first stamping in two weeks! After I saw this week’s challenge, I knew this would have to be my first project. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1138949?cat=500&ppuser=113844 I stamped on both pieces of ribbon and staggered it a little. I thought it worked well and I’ll try this again. Thanks for the great challenge!
