Today we are offering the Brayton Font along with the Harmony Rectangle Stampers. There are 2 stampers in the kit, one large and one small, as shown, and there are 3 sizes of Brayton Font— you’ll love it!!! There is still a sale going on at JustRite until the 19th, so be sure to check it out here!!!

To be entered for this Blog Candy drawing, all you need to do is comment belowand answer the following questions:

  1. Would you be interested in seeing a celebration like this again?

  2. What did you like BEST about this celebration?

  3. Is there something you would wish to have seen/done, that we did not include?

This post will be closed for Blog Candy entries at 6:00 p.m. EST on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008. Shortly thereafter a random winner will be selected by random.org. The winner will be posted both on this thread and at Party Central. OK, now on to my project:

eli-gift-card-480-wm-notime.jpg

Today I made a gift card holder for a young man. It’s the standard template I like to use. Justcuta sheet 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, and using your Scor-It, score at 2 and 6. The 2″ flap is the bottom and the 2 1/2″ flap is the top. I have a velcro dot under the image panel to hold the flap closed. This easily holds a gift card, cash or check — something every young (or old) man can use!!! LOL!!!

The paper used is from the Wonderland 8 x 8 pack by Cosmo Cricket. The sentiment panel was part of one of their cut-out sheets and I thought it would work perfectly on the flap for this gift card holder. I dressed it up with brass brads. Eli’s name is done with the Brayton Font on a Harmony Classic Circle Stamper I and a border from 10 Designer Borders and Centers. I thought this border went well with the pincone theme to Wonderland paper. I used dressmaker twill from the sewing section for my ribbon and popped my monogram up with dimensionals. A fun gift card!!! And SO easy to do!!!

Papers used were SU Very Vanilla and Bravo Burgundy. Inks used were Versa Fine Vintage Sepia, Ranger Distress Vintage Photo, and SU Markers in Baroque Burgundy and Chocolate Chip. I also used my Petite Circle Nestabilities and a corner rounder.

And this concludes our last day of Stamp Simply Celebrates! It has been so much fun for all of us involved and we THANK YOU so much for coming to visit and play along with us!!! There are still many open Blog Candy posts — you can find those by checking in at Party Central. I’m trying to keep that updated. And you are certainly welcome to go back and browse through any and all uploads, challenges and featured projects to get those creative juices flowing!!! Just because the party is over, doesn’t mean we’re going anywhere — we are all still here, along with our projects, and we hope you continue to visit regularly!!!!

I’m going to take aday or twobreak from stamping to clean up my stamp room and get some things ready for Christmas, but in that time I have a few things I’d like to share with you that I’ve made over the years — things that I love andcontinue to use year after year– a gorgeous (but simple, of course!) tree skirt and some snowball window and/or tree ornaments — fun!!! Even the kids would love to help you make those. Then, of course, I still need tons of Christmas cards and I tell you, the closer we get to Christmas, the easier those cards get — LOL!!! So there is still plenty more to come — hope to see you real soon!!!

THANK YOU, EVERYONE!!! IT’S BEEN SO FUN!!!

And the winner selected by random.org is #227, Cynthia — CONGRATS!!! Here’s what she had to say:

cynthia

Yes I would do it again. I enjoyed the daily inspirations and challanges. Even if I didnt get them done it got me working in my studio. Which is difficult during the holidays. Thanks so much Cynthia

I would definitley LOVE to see a celebration like this again! I look forward to coming to visit your blog every day! I wish i could have played along this time…but my school schedule wouldn’t permit…hopefully there is a next time so I can play along! 🙂 I think it was perfect just how you did it! Your project is GORGEOUS!
    Hugs~ Kim

  2. Amy H. says:

    1. ABSOLUTELY!
    2. The fabulous samples/art work that was shared. You all did such a great job! It must have been a ton of work, but I think I can speak for all your readers when I say how grateful we are that you share your work to inspire us.
    3. Can’t think of anything that was missed!

Thanks for the chance! Your blog is wonderful:)

  3. Jackie says:

    1. Definitely!!!
    2. Getting to see so many wonderful cards and projects, they were all awesome!
    3. Perhaps a video tutorial or two (unless I missed those somewhere).

This had to be a lot of work for you all and I really appreciate you all sharing your talent!

  4. Cheri Howard says:

I would LOVE to see this celebration again!

What I liked best was getting to see so many different styles of work. You had so many gals participating in the celebration, each with their own unique style. I find myself tending to visit blogs that have styles similar to my own, but it’s great to get fresh ideas from outside my “comfort zone”.

The only thing I’d like to see changed: most of the gals who participated in the celebration copied part or all of your Party Central welcome message in at least one post, but I was frustrated when hopping from blog to blog to have to scroll through all of that to get to what I visited to see in the first place. Maybe in the next celebration they could just place the “Stamp Simply Celebrates!” banner with a link to Party Central if we want to read all of that.

Thank you for a wonderful celebration – it was FUN!

  5. SusanH says:

I also loved the celebration – I really liked all of the samples and idea sharing – it’s great to see how to use different products/papers! And I don’t see where you missed a thing!

  6. nina says:

    1. A very cool celebration – would leave to see a similar one!
    2. Loved to see all the projects, especially the various boxes. Loved the blog candy too! 😉
    3. Can’t think of anything missed..

    Enjoyed it – thanks!

  7. One4Joy says:

1). I think this should be an annual event, Sharon! It was nice to get to visit some blogs of people I hadn’t seen their work. I appreciate everyone’s effort…truly!

2). I liked all the different projects especially the ones you gave specific dimensions . I think is is helpful to understand how many ways you can use something…

3).How about starting it a bit earlier…(I know it wouldn’t be the 12 days of Christmas…but I know this time of year is hard for me to be thinking of creating gifts!)

Thanks for the opportunity to share and the great give-a-ways

  8. Diane says:

I would love to see this again, the blog candy was nice, but all the ideas you all put out theres was the best!!! I can’t realyy see any changes, my only problem was with me, as I got myself confused as to which ones I commented on and the ones I didn’t….I have to figure out a better way so I know…LOL! thanks for the fun time with all this…the Just Rite products are great!

  9. Curt OBrien says:

    OK, here goes my answers:

    1. Yes. This was a great celebration.
    2. Loved seeing your work as always.
    3. This all was very confusing to me. There were too many people involved and too many blogs to have to keep jumping to. It got to the point where I didn’t know who’s blog I had been to or when, and all the deadlines made my head spin. I think next time there should only be one person featured each time and that all blog candy deadlines would be at the end of the celebration. I kept coming back to see who won, but there was never an announcement. So I just felt I missed out on so much because it was all to confusing at times. I found myself just focusing on what your projects were and not bothering running all over the place trying to see “everything”. Hope this helps. Best, Curt

  10. C Burke says:

    1. I would love to see this repeated again.

    2. Like others said, the ideas and creativity in everyone’s
projects were wonderful and kept me coming back each
day. I have a lot to learn about papercrafting so I have
enjoyed learning from all of you.

    3. Starting right after Thanksgiving would give us more
time to participate since this is such a busy time of
    year for many of us.

Thanks so much for sharing your talent!

  11. Jean says:

I would ablsoutely love to see the celebration again…..
Every day I opened my mail with great anticipation to see what all you gals had created for us…..all were terrific
I think one person mentioned video. That would be great. I have enjoyed this whole experience and I am so happy to have found you and the others….thanks for sharing such beautiful creations.

  12. leslierich says:

Hi, Sharon! Don’t count me for your candy, but I love your question and the helpful comments. I’ll admit even I got a little confused at times, as some have pointed out, LOL!! I absolutely LOVE your masculine gift card holder, too. PERFECT! The sentiment is great!!

  13. Fay W. says:

    1. Yes I would LOVE to see a celebration like this again!
    2. I enjoyed the bloghopping to see what everyone came up with—so inspiring!
    3. Only thing I can think of is if it could be a little earlier, like from December 1st. As it gets closer to Christmas, the less time I have to look at blogs and make things for gifting.

  14. Fay W. says:

Oops! Think I’m going nuts already. Please disregard my #3 above…. 😀

  15. Michelle says:

Your celebration has been so fun, Sharon! I love how you involved your “team” of stampers in the events – it exposed me to lots of talent I wouldn’t have found on my own otherwise. I just wish I’d had more time to play!

  16. Toni says:

    (1) I would love to see you do this again! It has been so much fun! I really like the easy leave a comment and win type blog candy. I, of course, love to see the wonderful creations by all of the artists who supported your celebration. (2)The BEST part of this celebration is the challenge attached to the blog candy. I’m not sure why, but I love a good challenge. I think the timing was perfect to have this happen at Christmas time and offer many time saving and gift giving ideas. (3) I really enjoyed the whole celebration and can’t think of any critical feedback to offer. Thanks for putting on this fantastic party and thank you for one last chance to win some blog candy!

  17. Laurie Helgason says:

Yes, I did enjoy the celebration.

I enjoyed seeing the extra projects and cards everyone made for the celebration. I don’t know how all of you could add more work to your busy schedules, especially this time of year.

The one thing I appreciated was the chance to win with out having my own blog or downloading a card, which is someting I haven’t ever tried. You gave a variety of different opportunities for people to enter the contests or win the blog candy.

The blog candy offered has been fantastic.

    Thank you.

  18. Deidre Mooney says:

Sharon love all the projects you have been sharing and what a great way to celebrate! Keep it up! Deidre M

  19. Elaine says:

WOW – What an incredible celebration!

Of COURSE I’d love to see it again, but I know it must have been an awful lot of work to coordinate!

My favorite part was seeing so many links with creative genius from all of these talented women and the chances for challenges and blog candy too! Thank you so very much for spearheading and congratulations on the blog – you’re one of a kind in a very special, wonderful way!

    hugs,
    Elaine

  20. Elaine says:

I forgot to tell you that I can’t think of anything that could be improved on ….but if there were a ‘live’ component somehow in different areas of the country that would be way beyond awesome (maybe not doable, but in by dreams, I would like that…especially if it included something happening in Seattle where I’m at!)

    hugs again,
    Elaine

  21. Marsha says:

We are the ones saying “Thank you”, Sharon. Yes it has been fun!
    1. I would love to see another celebration like this.
    2. The best is all the blog candy offers but thoroughly enjoyed so many helping you with their creations on their blogs.
    3. It was great – no expectations = no changes.

  22. Lynne says:

    1. The celebration has been awesome and I am already looking forward to next year!
2.It has been so much fun to hop from blog to blog and see all of the different projects, techniques and ideas. The blog candy has been so much fun! One of the main things I really liked is how all the blogs were cross-linked throughout the celebration. This allowed me to visit and start reading blogs that I might never have visited otherwise. More talent, more ideas, and more inspirations – what a great gift to your readers that will last all year!
    3. I love what you have done and don’t have any critical suggestions to offer, except perhaps a persistant link on the SCS homepage throughout the celebration? I just found it by accident when I followed a link on a card I saw in the gallery. It would be nice if there was a box on the SCS home page, perhaps under all the company icons in the right column, to draw more attention to all the great work the hostesses have put into this!

  23. jeanne nielsen says:

I would love to see a celebration like this again! How about Valentine’s Day! There are so many projects that you could share! No pressure though. I’ve loved this, but I’ve been so all over the place with the multiple blogs that I’m not sure I’ve been in the same place twice yet — it will take me a while to play these challenges for sure! I think I’ve gotten 2 done so far!!! Thanks so much for sharing! Jeannie

  24. Linda Raithel says:

    1. Yes, it was so fun to see what was going to be posted each day!

    2. Helped get my mojo going for the final push to get Christmas projects done.

    3. No, was a nice mix of prizes and projects.

Thank you for spending your time on this it was so fun and for such a busy time of year!

  25. Eileen McClean says:

yes this has been an excellent celebration,I am on acation in ireland and check the ideas every day. It was wonderful that many joined you to celebrate and added to your excellent ideas.I love the just rite sets and wish the mailing to Canada wasn’t so expensive. I love your blog and thanks for the opportunity to win such excellent candy. Good luck on your next million
    Eileen

  26. Carol P says:

    1. I’d love to see this happen again!
    2. I loved seeing everyone’s beautiful creations.
    3. I hope when you have this again, I am able to participate in the challenges. I just really didn’t have the time right now to do anything extra.

Thanks for all the chances to win!

  27. StampinCathy says:

Wow this card is just beautiful. I just love the colors!

    1. For sure!!

    2. I really liked blog hop and seeing everyones different takes on the challenges. I’ve really enjoyed the creative and inspiring projects and finding new stamping blogs. I really enjoyed all the different kinds of candy that everyone was so sweet to share with the readers.

    3. I think you did a fabulous job with this celebration. I just wished I had more time to do the challenges….maybe next time.

I do want to say congrats and thank you so much for a fun celebration.

Thanks for another chance at some sweet candy.

  28. jackie says:

woohoo yes have another!! thanks for all your hard work and great ideas

  29. Christine aka whim6915 says:

    1) I loved your celebration and would love to see something like this again. It reminded me just how much fun creating with paper and ink is supposed to be.

    2) It was so much fun to see how simple it can be to make gorgeous creations and to become familiar with the talents of your awesome team of hostesses. All of you solved several of my gift-giving dilemmas and I thank you much.

    3) Can’t think of a single thing. It was great that we didn’t have to have a blog to participate in these great challenges.

Thanks for all the time and effort from all of you talented souls.

  30. Kim says:

Wow, your party has been amazing Sharon! I wish I could have taken part in the challenges, but life around here has been a bit crazy and no chance to take part. I would love to see another party like this! I think you did a wonderful job organizing everything and there is not a thing I would suggest you change. Hitting the Million milestone is amazing, but no surprise! Your work is incredible and I for one am so thankful for your inspiration Sharon. Congratulations, and thank you for the party!! It was great fun to go to everyone else’s blogs and see what they were up to as well…..can’t wait for the next celebration!!!!!

  31. Jill Haddad says:

Loved the party and would definitely like to see another offered. I think what I liked best was seeing the great projects and artistry of the participants – not to mention the blog candy! LOL! and don’t change a thing – it was great!!!!

  33. carolh says:

The Awesome projects ideas and the many giveaways!!!!

    Can’t think of a thing…except maybe starting earlier…

  34. Connie K. says:

This has been a fantastic celebration! I don’t think you will find anyone who wouldn’t want it to happen again. My favorite part, like most everyone else, has been the different projects from so many different people. It was so nice to begin each day with something new! Loved it!

    Connie K.

  35. Emma O. says:

    1. Yes!

    2. I loved jumping to the various blogs. I loved the new talent I got to see & have even added a few to my daily reading.

    3. I think you’ve done a wonderful job! Every blog provided something different & on occassion new. Again, I love what you’ve done! Great job!

  36. 1. You betch ya! Who doesn’t love a party?

    2. The projects. So many talented women to get inspiration from.

    3. Don’t know. It seemed to be pretty cool all the way around.

    Merry Christmas everyone!

  37. YES!

Opportunity to see new projects and possibly WIN that blog candy!

I’d love to see more of how to use the products. I’m still a little confused about what I need to actually purchase to make one of the samples.

    Thanks!

  38. Nancy J says:

I have just LOVED this celebration! It’s been a bit fast paced but that’s ok! I may have to go back to all the blogs who have participated and look at all their creations. So to answer your questions: 1)Yes! I would LOVE to see another celebration like this one. 2)The thing I liked the best about the celebration was looking at all the inspirational projects! Of course all the blog candy was very exciting – even though I didn’t win. 3)And lastly, I can’t think of anything that you didn’t do. You and your team have been AWESOME and very organized. It must have taken you months to prepare for this and it is greatly appreciated!

Congrats on your success and I know you are just getting started! 🙂

  39. Carla (cmsuto) says:

Your celebration has been amazing, Sharon, and I would love to do it again! The best part of all was getting to see all the different projects and everyone’s unique takes on them. So much inspiration!!! You all did a fabulous job! The projects were fun and timely and it was easy to participate! I can’t think of anything that was missed – it was just great! Thanks for all the generous blog candy offerings and most of all, thanks so much for sharing your million hit milestone with us!

  40. Carol R says:

    1. Would love to see this done again.

    2. Loved all the projects and ideas. I will definitely refer back to them.

    3. You all put a lot of work into it. I don’t know how you got it all organized. I visited a lot of blogs I didn’t know about. I wouldn’t change a thing.

  41. Caiti says:

    1. OF COURSE!!!!!
    2. All of the great projects that gave me inspiration and ideas of my own!! I loved seeing them everyday!

    4. I think you did a fabulous job with this celebration! Congrats!

  42. Karen M says:

    1. YES!
    2. I enjoyed the many samples that used the blog candy being offered. It was nice to get so many cards/ideas (and start the mojo flowing) that could be made especially using the JustRite products. NICE!
    3. Can’t think of anything. All of you did such a terrific job and it was wonderful that you did it around Christmas. A BIG thanks to you Sharon and your whole team of friends that helped!

  43. Cheryl Sims says:

You are going to think ” Get a Life” but I really looked forward every day to these posts!!
    1. Yes, I would love for you to do this again.
    2.Every project was fabulous
    3. No changes necessary–pefect the way it is. Such fun.

Now , what am I going to do with my time?
    Cheryl Sims

  44. Mary Kunze says:

    1. I would be interested in seeing this celebration again.
    2. I liked seeing all of the different projects and I also now have a new list of blogs to visit daily with great ideas. I learned about new products and now have a new wish list.
    3. Everything was great.!!

  45. Lyn S says:

I’d love to see a celebration like this again!

I loved all the different and inspiring projects from all the blog links and from you, Sharon……..and I won some candy too!

The only change I would make is to start it a bit earlier….I had already made most of my Christmas cards when your party started.

  46. Barb (GrandmaUpNorth) says:

    1. You mean this is the end? (sob). I loved it, and looked forward to checking out the blogs.

    2. I liked the idea that most of the projects even a beginner could do, and you could do the challenges with items to had; it wasn’t real restrictive.

    3. At first, it was a little confusing, but by featuring different people on different days, I got to go back and “catch up”. I don’t think I missed anyone.

Believe it or not, I was getting up early to have a chance to check everyone out! How strange is that??

  47. Becky Yoder says:

    1. Do it again? YES!
    2. Loved all the inspiration. I have GOT to get a laptop so I can take the inspiration to where all my supplies are . . .
    3. As others have said, it was a bit overwhelming with all the blog-hopping and numerous deadlines. It’d be great to have all the deadlines be the same with one big “here are our lucky winners” listed together at one time. Also, love the idea of video tutorials.

Overall, it was a fabulous celebration!

  48. Cindy Q. says:

Oh, YES, you should do it again. The samples are the greatest. Maybe a time other than the holidays??? with summer/spring holiday ideas??? I am not sure what else you could do??? I thought the whole thing was GREAT! Thanks, again, for the chance to win some more blog candy. Keep up the good work…all of you.

  49. Barb T says:

Sharon, Here are my answers to your questions.
    1. Of course I would love to see this again.
    2. I loved everything and everyone who participated each day.
    3. I wouldn’t change anything

  50. Kathy says:

Please, please do this again! Every morning (not just during the celebration) I look forward to checking your site for new ideas and with this celebration time, I have found tons of ideas, great cards for inspiration plus I have discovered other blogs that are now on my “must read” list. Thank you (and all the rest of your group) for all your hard work–enjoy your “time off”.

  51. I love this gift card holder — perfect for a young man!

    1. I’d love to see you do this again!
    2. It was fun to hop around and see all the projects and blog candy — it was like going to a craft fair without leaving home! 🙂 Every project was inspiring — there was a whole lotta eye-candy!! 🙂
    3. I can’t think of anything you missed!

  52. Velta says:

Sharon ~ This whole thing was a great idea…although I hae not had the time to participate, because of work, etc. I have been keeping up with this everytime I get your subscription…Your ideas are simply amazing and inspire all of your fans…Thank you so much for sharing 🙂

  55. Jen Nevil says:

I would love to see this celebration again, it was so much fun and really helped me to get into the holiday spirit and get moving on my own projects

I really liked the gift ideas and the simple card challenge, but everything was awesome!!

I would love to see an ornament section, but it really was perfect the way it was, lots of great variations and ideas!

Thank you so much for all the work that you put into doing this, it really was so much fun to check in each day!!

  56. 1. Oh would I…Love to.

    Happy Holidays
    Heather
PS It was wonderful of you to create this celebration

  57. -Agnes- says:

Yes, a celebration like this would be nice to have again. What I liked best about it was the opportunity to win lovely goodies. I would have liked clearer or easier instructions on how to take part.

  58. Barbara says:

    hi Sharon,

I loved Party Central. Thank you so much for doing this. I would love to see it again. Yes sometimes, I did get confused going from blog to blog but then again I loved seeing other peoples projects. Please do it again….

  59. Sara says:

Thanks for all the fun Sharon! I would definitely love to see this again. I loved seeing the variety of projects from each team member. Creativity overload!! I can’t think of anything else you could add, but I’m sure your clever mind will come up with something.

  60. I LOVED the 12 day celebration! My favorite thing was seeing all the cards and gift ideas. I do craft shows so any ideas help me make up some of my inventory. If I could change one thing, it would be to add a spotlight on paper and stampsets. Showcase one special set or paper collection and show us a few things to do with each one. Thanks for all the AWESOME ideas! Merry Christmas!

  61. Betz61 says:

I would love to see this again and my favorite was all the food gifts and other easy handmade gifts shown. I think you hit all areas for me would not change a thing. Thanks so much to you and all your wonderful helpers out in blogland.

  62. Linda T says:

This was a fun celebration, although I must admit that I haven’t taken the time yet to sit down and really get a good look at all of your blogs. Do it again? Please! This was fun.

I loved best all the ideas. I need help in that department. Would I change anything? Not a bit!

  63. Heather Arsenault says:

    1. Absolutely.

    2. It was exciting to visit your blog daily to see what new creations you had posted.

    3. Can’t think of anything more that you could have added.

Thanks so much for a great blog event.
    Happy Holidays!

  64. Julia Aston says:

Wow – what a ride this has been Sharon – I can’t believe how much organization went into this party blitz!

    1. I’d love to see it again
    2. I personally love to see craft ideas – I’m always looking for gifts and items to sell at my church – and the blog candy has been terrific!
    3. the only slightly negative thing is that there was SO MUCH to read – I know you had a lot of info to give out each time and it was done really well – but I often just skimmed through it trying to pick out the important lines as my time on line is grabbed from free minutes here and there during my day so that’s the only suggestion I could make!

    Well done!

  65. I can’t wait for you to reach your next milestone Sharon – how soon can you make it 😉 ?

It has been such a treat to see your and the teams beautiful creations – such eye candy and inspiration (and hard on the pocket too – all these stamps I am having to order and have shipped over!)

I can’t think of anything you missed out – you have worked so hard and deserve a huge thank you from all your friends!

  66. Selma says:

You did a great job organizing Party Central. I would love to see it again. You and everyone on your team have given us so many great ideas plus the amount of blog candy has been amazing. Each day it has been very exciting to see what was next. I loved that you made it easy to win so many great products – especially JustRite products. I don’t think you need to change a thing. Congratulations on the success of your blog — we all look forward to seeing many more of your beautiful creations.

  67. Kelly B says:

    1. You betcha!!! Can you do it again next week?????
    2. I loved seeing all the ideas for Christmas gifts. My favorite part of Christmas is making homemade gifts for family and friends and you really get the creative juices flowing. I just have to start earlier in the year…say Christmas in March!
    3. I can’t think of a thing I would have wanted to see that you didn’t cover. The projects were all excellent and I plan on revisiting these posts (along with all the links to others) many times throughout the coming year.

Thanks so much for all the wonderful ideas and, once again, congratulations on reaching the 1,000,000 milestone! Happiest of holidays to everyone.

  68. Karen Quigley says:

Wonderland is my all time favorite christmas paper and you did a beautiful job using it on your card. The bronze paper in the other card is to die for. Love your layouts. Oh my gosh!!! The brayton font is the long I have been longing to have. I see a lot of people using it and would love to bring it home to my house. The whole 12 days of christmas experience has been so much fun. I know it takes tons of work to pull this off, and I am grateful to you and all your stamping friends that helped. Whether any of us win or lose the prizes, we have already won with all the amazing ideas to get us through the holiday season. Sorry this is so long, just wanted to say a proper Thank You from the bottom of my heart.

  69. Pam Clay says:

    1. Yes,yes,yes!
    2. Loved the fact that you had many friends that helped celebrate as well
and we got to hop over to their blogs to check them out!
    3. Hard to say, I was blown away by the celebration as it was!

  70. Barb S. says:

    1. Yes…this was fabulous
    2. I didn’t get to see “all” of the projects but the simplicity of the ones I did see was great. Your last share was so gorgeous.
    3. I think I read someone else’s post about starting it earlier….I have a hard time fitting it all in…especially if I need to go to a store to get supplies!!!

Thanks for doing this…You’re the Best!!!
    Barb S.

  71. Yaritza says:

I would absolutely love to have a celebration like this again. All the ideas and wonderful creations shared have been great. And seriously who doesn’t love a little blog candy as well.

  72. DJ says:

    1. Yes, it was just fabulous.

    2. I love seeing all the different design and project shared by your friends who help with the celebration.

    4. I donot think there was anything missing there was different area covered and it was great.

  73. Val S says:

First, Love your card, especially the ” Hang your stocking & say your prayers”. I wish it was a stamp instead of a “cut out”. Oh well…

    1. Wow…what a celebration. Of course I would love seeing another one – who wouldn’t!!

    2. I loved seeing all the different creations and the challenges. I even tried 3 or 4 of them, though I didn’t post my cards. Of course the blog candy was fabulous…just the chance to win some of them was great!

    3. I wish it had started earlier as there were many great gift ideas. (I them saved for next year!) Loved the many tutorials that were shared.

Thanks for a great 12 days!!

  74. Allison F says:

This was an amazing celebration! I loved it and would love to see another one. What I enjoyed the best was the variety of projects that were created and shared by the team. They were all so unique and gave me great new ideas and inspiration. I don’t think there was anything I would change (other than I am working a night rotation so I never actually got a chance to play along)!

  75. Toni K says:

A round of applause and a standing ovation to you for your accomplishments and your celebration! It has been fantastic!
    1) Yes! Who doesn’t love a celebration!
    2) While the blog candy is wonderful, the ideas have been phenominal! So many creative people!
    3) I can’t think of anything that you didn’t do. It was awesome!
    Thank you!

  76. Sara says:

    1. I loved this celebration that you had going on.
    2. I really liked seeing everyone’s creations and finding new people.
    3. You mean you forgot to include something, doubtful!!

  77. Monica L says:

    1. Yes, definately!
    2. Getting introduced to so many new to me bloggers
    3. Nothing comes to mind, relative new to card makings so not sure what I’m missing yet.

  78. jessica l says:

    1. Of course, why not?
    2. The sharing of ideas and of course the opportunity to win stuff!
    3. I love as much detail on the designs as possible, so that I can learn new techniques so as much of that as possible is great.

  79. Rene Mewes says:

Yes, I thought this was really fun! It was great to see all the neat projects and the blog candy didn’t hurt either! It was easy to get around to each blog with the links. Don’t change a thing!

    1.(yes…i love this celebration)

Would you be interested in seeing a celebration like this again?

2.(I have enjoyed “meeting” new stampers. And viewing their work)

What did you like BEST about this celebration?

3.( I got confused on some days. Maybe make each day a different color or something to help me know the difference of each day)

Is there something you would wish to have seen/done, that we did not include?

  81. linda patti says:

I have loved checking in each day, to see the great projects, and to ‘try’ for some great blog candy…I sure hope you do this again, it’s been fun!
maybe next time i will be brave enough to try some of the challenges!

  82. Diane Ulitsch says:

    1. I would love to see a celebration like this again.

    2. I really enjoyed seeing some ideas for small home made gifts. Some people are just so creative.

    3. I cannot think of anything that is missing.

  83. Jill says:

I haven’t participated in the challenges today but I loved seeing all of the projects, the great ideas, and the chance to win the blog candy. Since all of my nephews and my niece (ages 9 to 30) simply want gift cards this year (BORING!) I especially enjoyed the ideas related to those.

I agree with Linda that maybe I’ll be brave enough to post some of my own stuff next time around.

  84. Carol says:

    1. Yes Yes YESSSSSSSSS!!!!
    2. The prizes were wonderful, but I’m also inspired with everyone’s creations too, so it’s a toss-up for me. Who doesn’t like the chance to win a fabulous prize while gaining insight?
    3. I think you’ve covered just about everything I could ever imagine during this fabulous celebration. I wouldn’t want to change a thing! I love it all just the way it is, and I thank you for always sharing your time and talents with your readers 🙂
    Congratulations again!

  85. Carole says:

    Hi Sharon,

    1. Yes, yes, yes
    2. All those cards and projects were great inspiration for me. Many people has participated that was great.
    3. No

I’m sad that it comes to its end but every good thing has to end. Thank you very much for hosting this party and thanks a lot for all these chances to win great blog candies.

  86. Anita says:

I would love to do this again. The thing I like best is all the directions on how to make the projects. I got so many tips to help simplify my projects. I can’t think of anything that got left out.

  87. Judy Walsh says:

    <>

Sure would! It’s been so fun to follow along, and also to see the awesome creations you and your team come up with.

    <>

Of course, the chance to win stuff (it would be even BESTER to win), but I loved all projects. There is so much inspiration and talent out there.

    <>

Hmm, can’t think of anything. Keep up the good work!

  88. Elena says:

    1. Of course I will be interested in this kind of celebration again! And I am very thankful you put so much effor in it!
    2. I like the best different project ideas and challenges! I am sure I will come back to all of the tutorials again and again! And I think everybody liked the blog candy!
    3. I think you did everything we could ever dream of!

  89. Julie Kaehler says:

Would you be interested in seeing a celebration like this again?
Yes, of course, this was awesome.

What did you like BEST about this celebration?
All the wonderful ideas, you ladies are so talented and of course all the wonderful prizes.

Is there something you would wish to have seen/done, that we did not include? I never get enough of card ideas and tutorials. You did a fantastic job. I know this is a lot of work but we all appreciate you all sharing your talent with us.

I have been eyeing the harmony wood rectangular blocks since they came out. Wow, that would be all I need for Christams. Thanks again for sharing.
    Julie Kaehler

  90. Janet Swofford says:

    1. To quote my DS “Most Def!” which with translated means most definitely!
2.I loved jumping from blog to blog. It was almost like an online scavenger hunt. I enjoyed all of the wonderful projects and of course all of the great blog candy! So much fun!!!
3.It was really great but the only suggestion would be to start it earlier, maybe right after Thanksgiving.
Thanks again for hosting this wonderful celebration and congratulations on your wonderful blog! I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with next!
    [email protected]

  91. Nancy says:

    1. Oh, please do this again, I enjoyed it immensely.
    2. The creativity and the wonderful ideas that have been shared have truely inspired me. And of course the blog candy was phenomenal!
    3. The one thing I might ask you to do differently is not to ask to post a link to a card or project as some of us may not be members of Splitcoaststampers or may just be too computer illiterate to know how to do this. Other than that, it was a tremendous celebration! Thanks, Sharon!

  92. Martie M says:

This was GREAT. Without it I would have been sitting here – leafing through magazines – anything to try and get some ideas. But all I had to do was turn on the ‘puter and I had more ideas than I had time. I agree with one other suggestion – I just wish it had come a little earlier. Even the designers have commented on having so much to do and so little time. (I was constantly amazed at how much they were doing and wondered “What am I doing wrong? I can’t get this much done.” But of course I know the truth – I’m RETIRED – the spirit is willing but sometimes the flesh won’t cooperate.
What did I like the best – sorry but the ‘child’ in me has to say BLOG CANDY. Thanks for everything Sharon.

  93. 1. Yes! i I was not able to participate this time, but enjoyed, and was inspired by, seeing all the cards and projects.
    2. the ideas – they were not too confining…gave idea to spark a lot of creativity, which was very diverse
    3. Not that I can think of right now. I don’t see anything missing from a fun challenge!

    Take care and STAY POSITIVE!

  94. Alana M says:

This has been great, Sharon! Thank you for taking the time to coordinate it all!

    1. YES, I’d love to do this again! This was my first time, and I wanted to do more, but just didn’t get to as many challenges as I would have liked to do!

    2. I loved the challenges…they were varied, not just a bunch of one type of thing. Very well rounded.

    3. Personally, the blog hopping was fun, but now, to remember where we posted to see if we won will be a challenge, unless you will post all the winners in one place. 😮 I know it was a little more work to upload the photos to share, but I do enjoy viewing other people’s creations.

This was a blast! Thank you for motivating us and helping us get our holidays going with so much fun!!

  95. Sue Pardue says:

I absolutely loved this celebration. I only wish I’d had the time to play along. I especially liked seeing all the wonderful projects and I can’t see how you missed a thing!

  96. LInda E says:

WooHoo!! I would love to see a party like this again. The thing that I loved most about it was that I found some new blogs to read and saw the most amazing creations on all of them. You ladies are very talented and your creations so inspiring. THere’s nothing you could have done to make this better. It was perfect! Thanks agian for all of your hard work in makeing this so much fun for your readers.

  97. Lorie says:

I think this has been a great celebration, and I have loved all the wonderful projects shared. Card and box ideas are always some of my favorites.

I really can’t imagine what else you could have added. There has been such a variety of projects. I think you’ve done a fabulous job!

Thank you for such a fantastic opportunity to be a part of this!

  99. Gail H says:

    1) Yes I would love to see a celebration like this again.
    2) I love seeing all the different cards and projects that everyone shared.
    3) The only thing I can think of is…I would like tosee more on copics and what colors everyone tends to use the most.

    Happy Holidays,
    Gail 🙂

  100. Carolyn (snowmanqueen) says:

Love the celebration, and trying to win blog candy is fun. Also seeing all the wonderful creations. Sorry didn’t have much time to do the challenges. So busy this year.

  101. Susan G says:

Definitely I’d love to see this done again. It’s been so much fun to see everyone’s hard work. I never participate in the challenges, but I love to see what everyone else does. I already subscribe to many of the blogs of people who helped in your celebration, but visiting everyone else’s was a real treat. I found some new blogs to visit on a regular basis. The offerings of such great prizes was just icing on the cake. The work everyone displays is spectacular and gives me so many ideas for my own projects. I can’t think of anything that was missed. There were gift ideas, packaging ideas, tags, etc and that about covers it all for me. The descriptions of products used is very helpful. Thanks for doing that. Thanks for offering the stampers and font for today. I’d love to have the font to add to my collection. Congratulations on such a wonderful celebration and your success with your blog. Yours is one of the very first that I go to each day. I love your style of stamping. It’s much like my own.

  102. marisa (whiterockmama) says:

Wow, what a great 12 days!! Yes, I would love to see it again. The best part has been being able to see all the wonderful projects to get ideas. Have also enjoyed having so many blogs/people involved – some I have never visited before. Great exposure for them and us. Congrats again on your hits and for all the wonderful work you do keeping this blog going!

  103. Michelle A. says:

I would definitely be interested in seeing a celebration like this again…it was so much fun.

What did you like BEST about this celebration? I loved all the projects & inspiration. The blog candy giveaway was fun & exciting every day too.

Is there something you would wish to have seen/done, that we did not include? Nothing I can think of, I liked what I saw =)

  104. Claudia F. says:

Oh yes, I’d love to see this celebration again. I’ve gotten so much inspiration from everything. Everything was great.

  105. Julia Carter says:

Would you be interested in seeing a celebration like this again?

YES! Absolutely! This was awesome. (even if I didn’t win anything)

What did you like BEST about this celebration?

The blog candy was nice of course, but I loved all the great ideas that I got, I am using quite a few of them to make gifts and other things.

Is there something you would wish to have seen/done, that we did not include?

Well, I wish I had won something 🙂
You guys did a great job, seriously. Ummm. I would have liked to see more ornaments, but that is just cause I am into making ornaments @ the moment and I need all the new ideas I can get. But you guys covered a wide range of ideas and they were all so wonderfully and EASILY explained with useful, not to mention beautiful. examples.
    Well done, and Thank You!!

    Julia Carter

  106. Kerry from PA says:

    1. Would you be interested in seeing a celebration like this again?

ABSOLUTELY!! This was a ton of fun (even if I didn’t win anything …. yet).

    2. What did you like BEST about this celebration?

Seeing all the different creations/ideas to spark my own creativity.

    3. Is there something you would wish to have seen/done, that we did not include?

Hmmm, nothing that I can think of at the moment. Everyone did such a great job and I’m sure it was a ton or work at one of the busiest times of the year. Congratulations again on your milestone.

  107. Nancy C. says:

I thoroughly enjoyed this celebration and would appreciate seeing it again even though it was alot of work for you which I’m sure everyone appreciated.

I enjoyed the different tutorials which gave me some inspiration for future projects.

I would like to see some more of the tutorials – different ideas regarding some gifts, items for kids to make, etc.

Thanks so much for a wonderful time – Merry Christmas!!

  108. Karen N says:

This was a wonderful celebration! I really loved the multiple blog candy opportunities, and thoroughly enjoyed the chance to visit new blogs and experience creative new ideas for the holidays. Thanks for the inspiration!

  109. Jody M says:

1 – I have so enjoyed this celebration! I looked forward to seeing what you had in store for us each morning. Please do it again.
2- Seeing how your team took one idea and made it their own, that is what stamping is all about.
3 – Can’t think of anything that was missed. You all have been so generous with your blog candy and examples. Thanks for all the time you put into these projects. The talent on your team is tremendous!!

    Have a great Christmas!!

  110. Susan B says:

I would definitely love to see a celebration like this again. I discovered several blogs (looking for candy) that I absolutely fell in love with. The talent out there is amazing and I really enjoyed seeing all the cards and decor/gift items that they are making. Thanks for another shot at Just Rite products.

  111. Roberta says:

I can’t wait to see another celebration like this. I found so many different blogs that showed an amazing array of creativity. The cards, etc. have given me new inspiration to take into the new year. The hunt for blog candy in all of this was an added bonus. Thanks so much for sharing your celebration with me.

  112. Nan says:

I thought it was great. Alot of nice ideas and when there was directions on the projects it was great. I did get a little confused jumping around so much and I feel I probably missed some of the sites. Nice blog candy. Hope that you’ll have it again.

  113. Nancy says:

    1. Absolutely! This was so much fun!
    2. Loved all the inspiration from so many different people, and all the blog candy! 🙂 Loved hopping around on all the participants blogs!
    3. You left nothing out…excellent.

Just a quick note, I did notice some comments about lots of people involved and blog candy, and sometimes being confused as to who offered what and had they entered for blog candy yet. Here’s what I did, because I kept forgetting where I had gone too. 😉

I went to your Party Central link and printed out the schedule you had there. Each day I went to those activities listed and I entered a blog candy or made a project, I crossed it off. Made it really simple to follow. Don’t know if that would help anyone next time, but it sure worked for me, because I wanted to play as much as I could! : )

  114. Yes, of course I’d love to see another “party central” celebration like this one and hope you don’t wait until you have had TWO million hits, although that might happen pretty soon!

I think the thing I liked most was the fabulous ideas on YOUR site and on all of the other websites of your friends and teams! What a bunch of totally talented stampers!! It’s always great to see different takes on the same themes or layouts. I would have missed a lot of great ideas, if I hadn’t checked out these other sites through yours. The blog candy was fun, too, even if I didn’t win any of it. :O)

I can’t think of anything at all that you should do differently next time. Just keep those fabulous ideas coming!!!

Love, love, love your site – keep up the great work!!

    Virginia

  115. Desiree says:

Sharon, this has been such a fun event! I really enjoyed looking at everyone’s projects. The challenges were fun and I got LOTS of great ideas! I love your blog and discovered a few more that I will be visiting regularly.

  116. Debbie Stelton says:

    1. That would be a big YES

    2. Of course putting the blog candy aside I loved all the great projects
    and challenges.

    3. I can not think of any thing you all missed or any thing that could
have bee added to this wonderful celebration.

Thank you so much for the chance to win such wonderful candy and thank you to the companies who so generously donated the candy.

Have a very happy and blessed holiday season and TFS.

    Debbie/Phx AZ

  117. Marian Berggren says:

You did a FANTASTIC job!! Thanks for all the hard work you did so this could be so successful. I have had a blast!
1 YES, another celebration would be wonderful!
2 There are many things I liked best 🙂
*With so many other people involved with the celebration, you gave us the opportunity to see new blog sites. It was easy to find the sites with the links. Thanks! and now I have more blogs to add to my favorites 🙂
*I liked that I did not have to have a blog or download/upload to participate. I’m not brave enough to try these yet and really don’t understand how to. (I did have trouble entering a comment, but that was because I didn’t know where to go with the choices given – no URL choice.)
*We’ve had the opportunity to see sooo many projects! Even though I didn’t get a chance to make everything, I can still go back during Christmas vacation and try them for next year 🙂 I don’t feel like I have not lost out on anything – maybe just delayed.
*You had many opportunities to win some GREAT candy!! Who wouldn’t love that??
3 I can’t think of anything that should be done differently. I copied your Party Central site the first day (I hope that was ok) so that I knew what was going on each day and who was involved. I just wrote comments on my copy and checked who/where I participated and that kept me from getting confused. I also kept checking with Party Central for updates.
I’m sorry this is getting so long. It has been a great celebration. Thanks for the chance to play.
    Have a great Christmas!

  118. Tricia Dee says:

    1. Yeah! Do it again!
    2. I’m constantly amazed at the variety and creativity of the challenges.
    3. No, keep up the great work!

  119. Lana Edwards says:

I have so looked forward each day to seeing all the wonderful projects and having chances to win great items. I would definately like to see this done again. I just wish I knew how to blog or upload to SCS so I could actually send my creations in too but maybe next time. I do hope there is a next time!! God bless and a very MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!!

  120. 1. Yes, this was fabulous!
    2. I loved going around to different blogs to see different things, and of course the chance to win!
    3. I can’t think of anything to change, except my OWN ability to find time to do any of the challenges!!

  121. Cindy H. says:

Sharon, love the gift card holder that you made!! The colors are perfect for a young (or older) man:)

    1. Absolutely!

    2. Seeing all the fabulous creations, getting ideas for Christmas gifts and all the awesome blog candy!

    3. I guess maybe start this a little earlier, as some others had suggested.

I would *love* to win the Brayton Font and the Harmony Rectangle Stampers! I have been admiring this font for a while and have it on my list. Thank you for the chance to win!

How awesome is Just Rite donating so much wonderful blog candy give-aways for the Stamp Simply Celebrates!! Thank you Just Rite:)

Thank you, Sharon, for a fun-filled, whirlwind celebration!

  122. Lynda Hidalgo says:

WOW… Brayton Font and Harmony Rectangle stampers too boot ..now thats enough to knock anyone’s stocking off the mantle.
I hope this will be a Holiday tradition will continue to provide hours of entertainment and inspiration for others as it has for me. Your hard work and dedication to your passion showed through on every posting that I read and admired.
What awed me the most is hard to say, from one simple Christmas tree to a card that was so ornately done it was mind boggling. I loved it all.
What else could you do ….well my imagination has been stretched so far by all that you ladies have done is there anything else? Yes we know there is and you gals will hand it to us again on a silver platter.
I do babble don’t I…hehehhee.. One more thing oops 2 more..Specials thanks from me to you for helping me get through a very trying time of year, the companies that provided all the Blog candy….KUDOS !!

  123. Charlene H. says:

Of course I would like to see more celebrations like this in the future. I think what I like most about it is all the participants you have. There is so much to see and learn when you do this. It’s not just seeing the cards or projects its the tutorials that some do to go along with it. I love that part. Thanks for doing this and offering so much blog candy. It’s a lot of fun!

  124. Stephanie says:

I would definitely love to see a celebration like this again. It was so fun coming to see what you had for us each day. I think I liked the projects and cards best, but the blog candy was great, too. I don’t think I would change a thing on all you presented it. It was fun, and Merry Christmas!

  125. janet d. says:

I religiously checked your blog – something I AM NOT doing during the month of December, so yes, I loved the celebration. I enjoyed seeing all your team’s different spin on each challenge. Also, it made me WANT more JUST RITE products! Enjoy the season and Merry Christmas!

  126. Gail S. says:

Sharon, I loved you celebration! Would definitely love to see another one. Fabulous! I don’t have the capability to upload or scan, so I challenged myself to just try the challenges every day for my own self—-also helped me get ideas for Christmas cards next year and a headstart on other projects for next year. Wow, I can’t think of anything more—my head is just swimming with ideas and possibilities. I just wish I lived closer to a larger metropolitan area with access to some of the larger craft-type stores. Thanks to your blog, Barb’s and Julie’s, I have stuck my toe in ordering online from some of the companies and that has really helped with supplies. Thank you so much for such a great celebration! The 12 days of Christmas will now also remind me of you!
    Gail S.

  127. Dana Herin says:

    1) Would you be interested in seeing a celebration like this again?
YES! I feel blessed I came upon this celebration and honestly and not sure how. I have seen amazing talent and so many wonderful ideas. The tutorials actually have me thinking I might could actuall do some of them.

    2) What did you like BEST about this celebration? Learning all about everyone through their blogs and seeing talent off the scale!! I havent had time to read blogs but I now have SO many saved in my favorites folders. I just wish I had more time in the day to read blogs!

    3) Is there something you would wish to have seen/done, that we did not include?
I can’t think of anything I would change. Blogs are new to me and I thought it was so much fun, informative and really helped to get me in the scrapping and Christmas spirit!!

  128. Tessa says:

WOW! This celebration has been wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!! So much inspiration I think that’s the best part aside from the candy of course! I would love to see something like this again perhaps another time of year when I have more time and focus is not as much on Christmas – not that I don’t love the Christmas projects – time is just limited now – will be saving many of these for NEXT Christmas.

  129. Heidi says:

I just heard about your website through an e-mail I received from Marco’s paper. After reviewing all you did, I would 1) definitely advise another “celebration because now I have subscribed and would get in on it from the beginning, 2)loved the creativity the most and 3) would love to see more distressing but that’s not to say that I didn’t just love everything you did do.

  130. Melissa says:

I thought this celebration has been so much fun and perfect timing. Everyone’s always looking for creative ideas before the holidays.

My favorite part of the celebration was all the inspiration, the color combinations, introduction to a couple new crafty companies, and discovering some new bloggers that need to be on my “check often” list.

I can’t think of anything to do differently next time.

  131. Lori M. says:

    1. Absolutely LOVED this Celebration
    2. The best part of this celebration was seeing all of the wonderful creations….great ideas that were shared and I will be CASING many of them.
    3. Who would want anything changed pertaining to a Celebration? I loved visiting all of the blogs each day (in between my other duties)…gave me a good break away from the regular holiday grind. Please keep up the good work….love visiting your blog on a daily basis! Again, CONGRATS on hitting a grand mile-marker.

  132. Kathy M. says:

    1. Loved this celebration!
    2. I loved seeing the wonderful ideas – some of which I’ve “stored” for future use 🙂
    3. I think the celebration was great and can’t think of anything that was missed.

    Thanks!

  133. nancy littrell says:

    1. Yes, yes, yes!!!!!

    2. The best part……looking everyday in anticipation of a new challenge and candy. I loved how most of the challenges were kept simple and all the awesome examples from your team and friends.

    3. I really liked the way Leslie organized the daily events. that is my only suggestion for improving. TFS and letting us be a part of your Awesome Celebration 🙂

  134. 1. You betcha !
    2. All the beautiful cards and projects , and the candy is inticing too !
    3. Nothing I can think of !

  135. Giovana says:

    1.- Love it!!!
2.- All the beautiful creations and ideas!!
3.- I think everything is great!!

    God bless
    Giovana

  136. Jessica says:

    1. Would you be interested in seeing a celebration like this again?
    >> Yes, definitely!
    2. What did you like BEST about this celebration?
    >> The collaboration between so many crafters. The challenges, samples, and tutorials.
    3. Is there something you would wish to have seen/done, that we did not include?
    >> Nothing! It was so well orchestrated and easy to follow.

Thanks for all the fun, and congrats again on hitting 1 million (of course it’s way past that now!).

  137. gail says:

Loved this concept and would like to see it again. Thank you so much for doing this. I liked seeing all the projects and of course the candy! I did get confused sometimes, didn’t get to them all but I loved seeing other peoples projects. Thanks for sharing, g

  138. Becki B aka queenoe says:

    1. Definetly! It was fabulous

    2. That there were so many different doable things shown. Everyone who participated were the Best! (and the blog candy didn’t hurt)

    3. Everything was so well coordinated and well done, I can’t think of anything.

Thanks to Sharon for hosting this!!! It was great fun!

  139. Nancy C says:

Eli’s gift card holder is phenomenal!!!!

    1. Loved the celebration-please do it again.
    2. The great projects, amazing candy, and visiting all the other blogs.
    3. My only problem was not having enough time to do all the projects. This is such a busy time of year! So, either do it a little earlier (perhaps starting Nov. 1st) or send out “invitations” earlier so we could plan ahead to have more time available to play along.

Thank you for such an inspiring twelve days. Sharon, you are amazing!!!!!!!

  140. Linda Bandow says:

1.) Yes, this was really a fun thing! 2.) The best part was visiting blogs that were new to me and discovering for myself all that talent. 3.) Possibly starting this just before Thanksgiving so we can do more of the challenges/projects. And of course I would love to win the JustRite.

  141. Lavina T. says:

Thanks for an awesome chance to win this blog candy!!
    1) YES YES YES!!
    2) The creative projects
    3) None that I could think of

  142. Chris R. from Iowa says:

Thanks for such a fun time! Plus, lots of chances to win!
    1) Yes, again and again! Maybe something fun for Valentine’s Day or something mid year too? Maybe I will have the means to upload some of my contributions too not that they are nearly as wonderful as what I have seen so far.

    2) Winning some blog candy!!!! Totally amazed! But seriously (wink) all the fantastic creations and seeing so many fun blogs I had not visited before. Just totally amazing how creative everyone is!

    3) Wow, not sure what wasn’t done or seen – there was so many different projects – I was just totally amazed! Maybe the 12 days of Christmas and something for our Jewish friends but then you would have to start with all the other ethnic things. Good grief, this is getting complicated!

I just really enjoyed playing some carols and reading along as well as oohing and aaahing as well as wiping off the keyboard with drool on some of those projects. As my husband would say – “Stimulous Overload!”

  143. Heather says:

    1. Yes, it was a lot of fun. 2. I liked the links to the other blogs…I usually find blogs through other blogs 3. I’m not an “out of the box” thinker, so I’d have no idea what I was missing, lol! Thanks for hosting this, it was fun to see all the fun projects. I think I’m going to “borrow” your gift card idea because I have some of those to give this year. Thanks!

  144. Karin says:

    Yes, please do this again.

Loved all the creative ideas and discovered some great blogs.

Can’t think of anything you should change. Keep up the good
work and thanks for all the inspiration.

  145. Oh yes…I loved seeing the creations and having a chance to win wonderful blog candy!

  146. Laurie says:

Yes, I would love to see this again.
I really like how you set it up…challenges, projects, blog candy.
I can’t think of anything else I would like to see….you covered it.

Thanks a bunch for doing the celebration and thanks to all of your stamping buddies for helping with it, too.

  147. Ann says:

This was such a fun contest. The best part was seeing the beautiful work everyone does. I can’t think of anything to do differently. Thanks for the opportunity to win the candy.
    Ann

  148. Lori Stokes Wright says:

Wow this was fun! Thanks so much for doing this. I would love to do it again. I enjoyed everyones projects and ideas. I saved “party central” on my tool bar, at my home page. I have to go back and try more of the ideas and challenges. I missed checking on two of the days and really fell behind.
Thanks again, hope I win one of the Just Rite sets, then I can invest in adding to it. Smiles!

  149. Darsana says:

I would love to see something like this again.
My favorite part was (the blog candy) how everyone came together (the blog candy) for the celebration with different ideas (and blog candy) and visiting blogs I normally wouldn’t notice. Oh yeah and the blog Candy.
I don’t think there was anything missing. I would just like to thank anyone who donated items to be given away. It really makes someones day to receive an unexpected gift like those that were put up for blog candy.

  150. Lois (clownmom) says:

    1. Definitely would like to see something like this repeated — not necessarily for two weeks. I know it takes a lot of preparation on each blogger.

    2. Naturally the blog candy was a big part of the excitement, but I also got several wonderful ideas from the various projects.

    3. Not sure what you could have added — someone mentioned some tutorials, but that might have been a lot to include. I think most of the projects had detailed instructions.

Thanks for all the opportunities to win. Even if I don’t win anything, I learned a lot!

  151. Kellye Newburn says:

    1. Absolutely. It was so fun to see all your friends participate and to draw everyone into the event with the challenges.

    2. My answer above, and also finding new blogs you’d linked to. There is such amazing talent out there and I’m awed by some of the things I saw. And inspired to try at least some new things!

    3. I think it was just perfect and very generous of you. I can imagine it was a lot of work to plan and coordinate. Thanks and congratulations!

  152. Janet Sisk says:

I have been crazy busy the last couple of weeks so I have only been able to participate in some of your entries. To answer your questions, yes I would love to see another one of these, BUT not at Christmas time. It would be more fun for me and I could participate more in boring, cold months like January through March sometime. The second answer is blog candy. I love to have a chance to win blog candy. 🙂 The third thing was anything to change or add. It was hard for me to read all the stuff on the blog links since my schedule has been nuts. Too much in one entry gets skipped or missed. I would prefer several shorter entries in one day than one long one. Thanks for the chance to win one more great blog candy prize!

  153. Jennifer says:

    1. Yep!!
    2. I really enjoyed visiting and discovering new blogs, websites, products, artists.
    3. You did an awesome job organizing this wonderful event. Congratulations!

    Jennifer L.,

  154. Lori A. says:

I’ve really enjoyed this celebration! I love seeing so many different creations and being introduced to blogs I hadn’t previously seen before. Thank You!!

  155. Kerry J says:

    1. Loved it! Would definitely love to see it repeated!
    2. Loved all the different gift sets, packaging ideas, gift ideas, etc.. Also loved being able to check the Party Central page for winners, etc..
    3. I agree with earlier – I’ve had quite a few gifts finished for some time now – but I still have some to complete too.
Thanks so much for another amazing chance to win! You and the stamp simply team ROCK!

  156. Susan Rothbauer says:

    1. Yes, yes, yes!
    2. All the different samples and ideas have been wonderful – can’t deny that the possibility of blog candy isn’t great also! 🙂
    3. I don’t think you’ve missed anything. There has been so much to look at and tuck away for future inspiration. Everyone you have involved is so talented. Great job!

  157. Vicki says:

Oh, definitely — please do this again next year. Blog candy aside, it’s just been great fun to visit everyone’s blog to see what their project is for the day. I’ve loved it!

My favorite part of this celebration was the packaging for cookie exchanges. I’ve really been inspired to dress up my packaging this year.

I also got some great ideas for other gifts!

Thanks — this has been the best!!!

  158. Karen L. says:

    1. Yes, this was wonderful and I do hope you do it again.
    2. I loved the way you had all the links to the sites, and then a central website to check on the happenings! Loved all the projects and the ability to blog hop!
    3. Just wish I had more time to do these great projects…maybe have the next one not so close to the hectic holidays?!

  159. SHartl says:

Thanks so much for this great celebration! I would love to see you do it again and have enjoyed seeing all the projects, having a chance to win such super prizes, and getting to know you!

This was my first time really getting acquainted with blogs and now I have a whole new world of inspiration.

I wouldn’t change anything, it was greaaaaaat!

  160. Julie Temple says:

Yes! I would love to see another Celebration!! I have so enjoyed all of YOUR work as well as getting to know the others, too! That was great, as now I have more blogs to visit daily! In my opinion, there is nothing that can make it moe enjoyable!
Thanks so much for all of your hard work and yet ANOTHER chance at fabby candy!!

  161. Laraine R says:

I would love to see you do this again!! Love all the inspiration you have shared!! Also love all the blog candy!! Thanks!!

  162. Gloria Dojlido says:

    1. Yes, this was awesome.

    2. Loved seeing all the inspiration….all the challenges. Great to look threw all the blogs too!

    3. I thought you girls did a fantastic job. I really wouldn’t change anything, maybe just add a video tutorial here or there. But it was fabulous all the same! Thanks!

    Gloria

  163. Debbie Fisher says:

Would you be interested in seeing a celebration like this again? YES!!!! I loved seeing all your projects as well as the other gals.

What did you like BEST about this celebration? I loved that others played along and you could see soooo many cool ideas.

Is there something you would wish to have seen/done, that we did not include? I can’t think of anything. You all did a great job incorporating so many ideas that were “doable” and very easy to do at that.

  164. Sandy K says:

    Certainly did.

I loved see all the creative ideas you gals came up with. So many ideas and so fun.

Nothing in particular. A tutorial is nice.

  165. Julie says:

    1. YES!!! Is an Illinois politician likely to be corrupt…absolutely! (I can take shots–I pay my Illinois taxes.)

    2. Loved all the beautiful contributions. But mostly I loved how easy it was to participate in the “Blog Candy” portion. I do not have the means to photograph and upload finished card images so a participation challenge is beyond me (in more ways than one)!

    3. I am just grateful to everyone who puts so much effort into their lovely art and then graciously share with the world . Who could ask for more?

  166. Rita Bracy says:

    1. YES!!!
    2. The inspiration and the oppertunity to visit other blogs I’ve never visited before.
    3. Beautiful projects, inspiration, great prizes, hmmm, nope can’t think of anything you missed.

  167. Pat M says:

I would love to see something like this happen again. I loved going to all the different blogs, some I didn’t know existed and they were a pleasant surprise with all the many cards and projects that were available for us to view. For the blogs that I did know existed, they didn’t let me down. Again, beautiful cards, wonderful ideas. So many ideas, so little time! Everyone was so generous with their ideas, and the Blog Candy, what can I say, everyone loves the chance to win some blog candy.
I can’t think of anything I would change. It was a great time and I am looking forward to your next celebration. Congratulations on a job well done.

  168. Gladys says:

    1. Yes, I enjoyed the celebration.
2.Loved seeing all the interesting creations by such talented people.
    3. No critical remarks. Everything was just fine.

    Merry Christmas to all.

  169. laura huffman says:

loved the celebration. i didn’t participate in the challenges, and not sure i will in the future, busy time of year, but i liked looking at the samples anyway. would love to see another one in future, it was AWESOME.
thanks so much for your generosity and the generosity of your sponsors.

  170. Kim says:

Another celebration like this would be wonderful!!!

My favorite part of the celebration was seeing all of the wonderful designs. It was so inspiring!

There isn’t anything I would change.

thanks for all of the fun!

  171. Lisa Brown says:

    1. This celebration was awesome…hope to see it again! Because of conflicts, I was unable to participate in the challenges, but hope to get the chance next time!
    2. The best part were the great projects and samples…and, of course, the chance to win some fabulous blog candy.
    3. Wouldn’t change a thing…great job!

  172. Christy says:

Wow – what a great post and a great giveaway. You are so generous, as is JustRite. And to answer your questions, yes – I’d love to see a celebration like this again. My favorite part or the best part was seeing all the great things your team came up with – some things just blew my mind and really inspired me to try something new. I had a total blast reading everyone’s blogs. As for changing anything – I think it was spot on and wouldn’t change anything. 🙂 Thanks again for a great start to December!

  173. Darlene L says:

I loved your celebration. It was really fun to party with everyone. My favorite part is the blog hopping all over. I always discover new things. Of course it is always fun to try to win blog candy.

I can’t think of any changes–because it is such a busy time of year, I didn’t have a chance to do any of the challenges–in fact I am away from home and my stamping stuff.

Thanks for the the work and effort by so many in sharing their talents with us. darlene

  174. Rieca says:

Yes we want to see this again! What do we like best gotta be the great demos and inspiration. And then seeing new blogs by hopping around. Of course the giveaways are always appreciated too!

Would you be interested in seeing a celebration like this again? Yes, I’d LOVE to see this type of celebration again!

What did you like BEST about this celebration? You mean, besides the blog candy? LOL. Well, I love seeing all the wonderful projects that everyone has come up with. All of you had such terrific ideas that I almost don’t know where to start copying! That is worth the most to me and I can’t tell you all how much I’ve enjoyed and appreciated seeing all your creative and beautiful ideas.

Is there something you would wish to have seen/done, that we did not include? No, I think the whole celebration was wonderful. As others have said, though, it is a tremendously busy time of the year, so it might be better at a less hectic time. Not that you have much say on when you hit that milestone!

Thanks so much for such an enjoyable celebration. And congratulations on having such a popular blog!

  178. Nan says:

    1. Yes – this is great
    2. I love to see all your creations – I am amazed by all of the talent.
    3. Maybe a tutorial on some – video would be great!

  179. Linda Sims says:

Yes, I would like to participate in another celebration.

I enjoyed seeing all the samples, techniques, and instructions….and, of course, the blog candy.

Everyone did a very good job, and I can’t think of any changes to suggest.

  180. Lisa808 says:

    1. Absolutely!!!

    2. Seeing all the great projects on the different blogs and, of course, the
    chance to win candy!

  182. Hilda says:

    1. I would love to see another celebration like Stamp Simply Celebrates! Maybe one in February or March when we’re all suffering with cabin fever.

    2. The best part of your 12 day party was seeing the new challenges each day, and then checking out everyone’s different take on the projects. You are some very talented ladies. Thanks for sharing with us!

    3. I can’t think of anything to add. I think you did an incredible job – I can’t imagine how many hours you must have spent planning and coordinating it all!

  184. Anne says:

Gosh, what a wonderful 12 days of Christmas this was. I loved the ideas, the links to new bloggers (for me) and all the energy – I am inspired at a time of year when I’m usually overwhelmed. It would be wonderful to see this happen again – thank you!

  185. PF Goh says:

    1) Yes, of course, who doesn’t love having a celebration!
    2) I can’t wait everyday to read the blog candy and the great ideas you have for us! Great job, and thanks for all the great ideas!
    3) I kind of got lost sometimes. And I can’t figure out which blog candy is what, and who’s who….maybe so many people were involved. But great job! I can’t really complain!

  186. Patti Cunningham says:

Absolutely loved it! Please do it again. I got so much inspiration on a daily basis….thanks for all your hard work! Can’t think of anything you missed. Sure look forword to the next series…how about a Spring, Summer theme?

Love this idea, so christmasy, so masculine! I just love it! Thanks for the chance to win!

  188. 1. ABSOLUTELY loved it! This was the best 12 days I’ve experienced.

    2. I love everything I saw – the cards, projects, etc. – I learned so much and can’t wait to try everything out. It was also a great way to find places I haven’t visited yet and meet new people and can’t wait to get to know they all more over the years. It was a lot of work for each of you and I am extremely thankful to you all for doing this for us.

    3. There was nothing missed and can’t wait until next year. Maybe you could do something like “12 Days of Spring or Summer” or something like that for the middle of the year so we don’t have to wait all year long for another one 🙂

    Have a great weekend !

    Janet

What did you like BEST about this celebration? I enjoyed looking at designs of other crafters..it amazes me how talented people are.

Is there something you would wish to have seen/done, that we did not include? 193. Kitty Rodahl says:

YES! This has been so fun! I’ve looked forward to the ideas and card samples everyday.
I would love to see this started earlier. Once December rolls around there are too many other things to do and concerts, programs, ball games etc. to attend.
I especially enjoyed seeing the blogs of new people I hadn’t visited before. There are soooo many talented and creative people out there. Now I have some new sites to visit!
Thanks to all for the great ideas and cards, and blog candy. Merry Christmas~have a wonderful season with your families!

  194. NY2TXPATTI says:

    Yes!

I love seeing your creations and the new products that are available.

  196. sandyh50 says:

    I loved the celebration!
I enjoyed all the projects I saw and the blogs I got to.
I just wish it was a different time of year, I was too busy this month to get to do some of the projects and really learn from them.

    Thanks so much!

  197. Megan Lock says:

    1. Yes!! It was fun!

    2. I loved how there were different sites to visit–I love “meeting” other stampers this way.

    3. A central location where all the winners are posted would be GREAT! I didn’t sign up for some of the give aways and instead of going back to each individual blog, it’d be easier to have it in one spot! THANKS!!

  198. Megan Lock says:

OH, I just went to party central and saw where you did post ALL the winners! Silly me. I’d visited the party central, but it must have been before all the deadlines of the blog candy. *Sorry* I really have been reading all of the info! Since my #3 is reality, I guess there isn’t anything I would add/take away! Again, sorry I missed that!!

  199. SueB says:

    1) Yes OF COURSE, please do this again (you were kidding me, right – having to ask that question?!)! It’s been t’riffic following the challenges tho’ my work schedule has been frantic and I haven’t been able to participate lately … sigh!
    2) The best part is seeing all the responses to the challenges (tho’ winning some of the t’riffic blog candy would’ve been sweet … but what are the chances of that, y’know?!). I LOVE sketch challenges of all challenges offered!
    3) By next year at this time I’m betting there’ll be new product you can challenge us to use.
It’s been great celebrating w you again this year! I’ve been away from personal PC a couple days so I’ve gotta go play catch-up now!

  200. Alison Snow says:

Wasn’t that a party? 🙂 Looked like lots of fun, however, my schedule did not permit me to play along…maybe next time, so yes, you have to have a next time!

    Love to win the candy!

    Thanks,

    Alison

  201. Barb says:

  211. Colleen says:

I would LOVE to see a celebration like this again. The best part was seeing all of the beautiful examples and projects and having all of the links right here on your blog for even MORE samples to see. Wonderful! I can’t think of anything “missing” but it would be great to see more tutorials and/or step by step explanations with pictures of the steps – I really enjoyed the ones you included (and the links you included to previous one that I had missed) I found them immensely helpful. It helps me so much to see the steps. I have some fun stamping supplies but get stuck in a rut using them the same way and your tutorials and step-by-steps have helped me see some new/better ways to use my supplies! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful work and all of the generous blog Candies!

    2. Loved being introduced to bloggers I didn’t know.
    3. I didn’t have time to participate. This time of year is crazy. We appreciate the huge amount of work this must have been to organize this. If anything, I would ask you start the event earlier.

I love the masculine gift card holder you made. I love the paper and color choices. Awesome! My son’s middle name is Eli.

    1. YES! YES! YES! I would dearly love to see another celebration like this one. This was just great!

Thanks Again for a super time!!

    Elaine

  226. Mary B says:

Seeing more celebrations like this would be fantastic! I especially like seeing different projects by designers whose work I don’t see all the time, and new ideas for using supplies I already own. Thanks for the chance to win the great font set and stampers!

  227. cynthia says:

Yes I would do it again. I enjoyed the daily inspirations and challanges. Even if I didn’t get them done it got me working in my studio. Which is difficult during the holidays. Thanks so much Cynthia

  228. Katydidnt says:

I find that my “mojo” seems to take a vacation this time of year so the thing I appreciated the most is that the challenges helped me spark my creativity again. I might not have met the actual challenge, but the fact that I was putting ink to paper was just the inspiration I needed! Thanks!!!

  229. Donna P AZ says:

    1. I would love to see this again. All of the projects and info are great!

    2. What I liked best is that some of the blog candy was offered without requiring a project. This is a very busy time of the year and I was happy to be able to enter with a comment or by answering a question and I loved reading what everyone else had to say.

    3. I think it is all good and I like that the winners are posted in one location so it’s easy to check to see if I have won. Boo Hoo, not yet!

I just need more time to thoroughly peruse each and every blog from their beginnings till now that I’ve visited over the past two weeks and unfortunately, that is never going to happen!!

  230. Ann says:

I would love to see this celebration again. The best part was not knowing what kind of beautiful work you’d see with the next click of the mouse. I just wish I would’ve had time to make some of my own items based on the beautiful work you all shared.

  231. Missy B says:

I didn’t get to play, but I have to say that I come see your blog regularly–yes I’m one of those “lurkers” who stay in the background and admire. Your work is lovely, and I appreciate the inspiration and motivation that you have provided me–thank you!

  232. JEANNE C says:

I think the celebration was so much fun and I enjoyed going to all the other blogs to see their work.

As it is a busy season for me, I enjoyed the blog candy where you could just make a comment.

It would be wonderful to have a celebration again…perhaps at a different time of year…or how about twice a year!

  233. Alison says:

I really enjoyed your celebration, and would definitely follow it again.

My favorite part was all of the samples shared. So much talent out there!

I would make a smaller batch of blog banners for your “Candy”, “challenges” and “celebrates” icons. They were a bit distracting while reading thru your posts. But that’s so minor!!

  234. Tina H says:

1 – I would LOVE it if you would do this again, I didn’t discover it right away, so had some catching up to do, but so happy I was able to find the party!

2 – As always, I appreciate all of the creative projects & ideas, and most especially like the clear instructions and recipes – thanks so much for that.

3 – Finally, I can’t think of anything more you could do to make it better, but since you always have such great creative ideas, I am sure any changes you decide on will be very received.

Thanks so very much for sharing and for the opportunity to win!

  235. Mary Esther says:

Yes, I loved the Celebration. Please do it again!

I enjoyed all the samples that were such an inspiration.

I am such a “newbie” that I need simple instructions on where to leave my comment. 🙂

    Have a wonderful Christmas!
    Mary Esther

  236. Loved the celebration, Sharon. You always think of amazing ways to share your talent and others with us.

What did I NOT like about this celebration?? lol Everything was just awesome right down to details given about projects.

  238. Dulce says:

I had been feeling stressed out with regards to finding Holiday gifts, but I now have a fresh plate of tips.

  239. Skyrim says:

Virtually all of the things you mention is astonishingly legitimate and it makes me wonder the reason why I had not looked at this in this light previously. Your piece truly did switch the light on for me as far as this specific subject matter goes. But there is actually one particular factor I am not too comfortable with so while I make an effort to reconcile that with the actual main idea of your point, allow me see exactly what the rest of your visitors have to say.Very well done.
