Quick Vintage Tags
I wrapped 4 identical boxes today, so I wanted 4 identical tags — you know me — LOL!!! And time was of the essence so I remembered a gorgeous vintage card I had seen Darlene do using a Crafty Secrets set. I went looking, and here it is. It was just what I had in mind for the style of my tags, so I took Darlene’s lead and used the same stamp set and the same DP. Thank you so much, Darlene!!! Here’s what I came up with:
They were really quick and I love the old world charm! I got 4 tags from one sheet of the Heartwarming Vintage Collection DP by CS. Here’s the how to:

Using Crafty Secrets Earthy Pad, cut one sheet intofour 3 x 6 pieces.

Deco Corner upper edges.

Stamp images from Vintage Christmas by Crafty Secrets in Versa Fine Onyx Black.

DTP edges(apply ink direct to paper from pad) first with ColorBox Chalk Amber Clay and then Ranger Distress Vintage Photo.

Mat onto a black piece, insert SU Jumbo Brass Eyelet, run checked ribbon thru eyelet, done!!!
Using my Glue Glider made assembly quick. I got my Glue Glider as well as my Vintage Christmas set from Joan’s Garden.

Sharon, your vintage tags are so beautifully……Vintage! I love making tags, but never think to take pics and upload. I put ribbon or elastic cord on my plates of cookies with a tag attached. I love baking and sharing during the holidays with family and friends. TFS

Sharon – your tags are beautiful and plan on attempting some myself using your technique – thanks for sharing them with us. Also, I just wanted to say thank you for putting on the “stamp simply celebration” for us. I met so many new people and learned so much in the past 12 days and can’t wait to use it all on what I make. I do hope that you will be able to get another one together for next year; and possibly one in the middle of the year 🙂
I know it must be a lot of work putting something like this together, but I had a blast.
