Bella Rose Teacup

I love my Bella Rose DP and am determined to use up every piece, and I don’t have too far to go! Today I used it on this pretty teacup image, called Simple Pleasures by Impression Obsession. Here it is:

My teacup is embossed with a mix of Detail Gold and Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder, colored with Copics, cut and embossedwith the Labels One Nestabilities, and I sponged my image with SU Barely Banana while still in the die to give the crisp, white border. This is a simple layout that POPS a bit with the addition of the brigher pink velvet ribbon and buttons. I recently replenished my supply of Prism papers and was so pleased to see the nice selection at Stampers Dream. The purple here is Prism’s Majestic Purple Medium. And I love how the papers come in packages of 3 shades per pack — makes it easy!!! My IO stamp, Simple Pleasures, also came from Stampers Dream. This card is 5.5″ square.

My friend Deb posted a card yesteday using this same stamp. It’s so lovely – check it out here.

Stamps: Simple Pleasures by Impression Obsession from Stampers Dream Paper: White, Prism Majestic Purple Medium, SU Bella Rose DP Ink: Versa Mark, SU Barely Banana, Copics to Color Accessories: Label One Nestabilities by Spellbinders, Velvet Ribbon, Prima Flowers, SU Brad, Kaiser Rhinestone, Wal-Mart Buttons, SU Detail Gold and Iridescent Ice Embossing Powders, Sponge, SU Corner Rounder, Needle and Thread, Mounting Squares, Glue Dots.

Thanks again for stopping in. Still no cleaning done — oh my!!! My boys are still all home, we are back to attending high school basketball games for our youngest, we’ve been furniture shopping with another and enjoying visiting time with our oldest. It’ll get done in due time — hopefully tomorrow I can start — famous last words — LOL!!! Hope you are all having a great week!!! See you soon!!!

I just love your card. You did an excellent job on the sponging of the Barely Banana. I think it adds so much to your card. The teacup reminds me of a stamp set (one of my first) that I got from Stampin’ Up years and years ago. I had it in my box to sell, but have decided I might need to keep it now. Thanks for sharing. 16. Oh Sharon this is fabulous! It looks just like the teacups in my collection that once belonged to my mother. And the flower is such a perfect touch… sitting there on the saucer. LOVE this!

I’ve never EVER used a full pack of designer paper! Not even when I had a hostess club! You make all those gorgeous card sets, so I imagine that uses quite a bit. Good for you, Sharon! This is a gorgeous card. I love the bit of bright pink, and I especially love the way you placed the flower on the saucer. So cute!!
