Country Gingham

Today’s Color Challengeat SCS called for Kraft, Riding Hood Red and Summer Sun, with Black as an option. Not my usual colors — at least not the Kraft and Summer Sun. In fact, I haven’t even owned any Kraft paper, ever, up until about 6 months ago when I ordered a pack *just in case* — LOL!!! Well, I guess today was the day! I love the use of Kraft in the work of those who use it regularly, but somehow it just never finds its way into my color palette. Here is today’s result, Kraft, Summer Sunand all:

Today’s colors just kind of screamed *country* at me –and what’s more country than a piece of gingham ribbon! And sorry if I’m boring you to deathwith the repetitive use of my new Primas, but they are still out and I love digging through all those pretty colors I got!!! I added some machine zig zag stitches to my gingham, my button is vintage from my stash and to me this card looked *happy* — thus the HAPPY sentiment from Define Your Life.

Stamps: SU Define Your Life

Paper: SU White, Black, Kraft, Summer Sun

Ink: Versa Fine Onyx Black

Accessories: May Arts 1.5″ Gingham Ribbon (available at My Ribbon Sale), Primas from Michaels, Martha Stewart Picket Fence Punch, Vintage Button, Sewing Machine and Thread, SU Glue Dots, Glue Glider from Joan’s Garden.

Glad you stopped in again – I do so truly appreciate it!!! I’ve got so many little projects in my head that need doing, I just hope I can get to them all — one day at a time!!! I just have to quit playing challenges for a bit and get back to my projects at hand that have been left hanging!!! I need to come up with something more *From Sue’s Kitchen* and I need a baby boy gift — coming soon — I hope!!! Hope to see you back here soon!!!
