JustRite goes CAS

JustRite meets Clean and Simple — a perfect pairing for today! Gosh, I just don’t know where the days go sometimes. It’s Monday again and I so look forward to doing the CAS Challenge over at SCS each Monday — and here the day is almost gone, but I got it done! A super simple little card, totally generic — great to keep on hand — here it is:

Today’s CAS challenge called for the use of punches — so out comes my handy-dandy Martha Stewart lace punch — always a quick and easy treatment that lends a warm country/homey feel! I just punched the bottom of the card top, then I adhered DP from Raspberry Tart (SU) on the inside of my card (just an inch on the bottom)– instant color and POP for my lace! I then wrapped my 1.5″ May Arts Gingham around the card front (it is adhered under the image), and popped up my image on top! Fun, clean and simple!

Here’s an angle so you can actually see how the bottom is done. My image is Copic colored and I’ll bet you wouldn’t guess, but it’s from a new JustRite set! They are coming out with the cutest colorable images — fun stuff! This was the Bonus Center that comes with the new 2″ Wood Stamper. Being JustRite it, of course, is intended to have words around the border, but this being a CAS card, I left them out — remember, CAS = quick and easy — so I took the easiest route and just used the center image. And I cut it with my Labels 1 Nesties rather than the traditional JustRite circles — love that there are options!!! This set also comes with new 15 pt font that fits in the border — next time I’ll be sure to use that — can’t WAIT to try the new size font!!!

So pretty Sharon, I love the gingham ribbon, it’s wonderful on this design. Gosh, where have I been, I didn’t know anything about the non-raffle until just now reading it on your blog. Between Spring break and Spring cleaning, I’m missing everything! Hope to be back in the swing of things next week!
