Roses – Made with Love!
I needed to make time this morning to make a card — just because I *needed* to — I’m sure you know that need — LOL!!! I started making a half circle gatefold to use up the other half circle piece from my last post, but that was thrown by the wayside for another day (1/2 completed, so that’s a good thing) and I moved on to this blush and taupe card using a beautiful image of roses from the Birds and Botanicals Journal Notes Pad.
I do believe the creator of this stamped sentiment by JustRite from the Tiny Words Setmost likely intended this for the back of a card… made with love, then you sign or initial your creation. However, I just adore this tiny little sentiment and feel it is totally appropriate for the front of a hand-made card. The recipient will be so pleased to know this creation was … made with love … just for them! My paper image was cut using my old dressmaker pinking shears and my lace border and threading holes were done with Martha Stewart punches.This 100% silk ribbon is perfect for threading as it is so soft and piable it essentially adds NO bullk. My bow was then made using the Bow Easy and applied with glue. Dont’ know what the Bow Easy is? Read here and here.
I used a pretty border from the Tiny Words Set that went well with my vintage image and accented it with tiny pearls, elevating it with dimensionals. It was cut using a Petite Circle Nestability by Spellbinders.
Here’s a visual for you of the JustRiteproduct used to create my pretty sentiment. I love this teeny little stamper. It is 1 3/16″ and using the Tiny Words Set you can create just the most darling little sentiments for your projects. I love adding these tiny sentiments to cards — they are so easy to work into your layout.

I just again want to say *thanks* for checking in on me even though my posts have been less frequent — but I am still trying to work on that! What a beautiful card! I love the idea of using the ‘made with love’ sentiment on the FRONT of the card. How creative! The pearls around the sentiment are a lovely touch. Beautiful ribbon…love how it weaves through the slots.

Oh, good heaven’s, Sharon! This card just broke the gorgeous scale! Seriously! I would soooooooo love to have images like this to color, but they sure do come in handy for quick cards, don’t they? Love the alternate use of made with love stamp. Quick question, are these roses or magnolias? I am not a flower expert but they did not look like roses to me…lol.
