CAS Masculine Sympathy

I often think clean and simple is the way to go with sympathy cards, and even moreso when it needs to be a masculine sympathy card.  That’s what I did here today — clean and simple, black and white.

This card is a favorite size of mine of late – 5.25″ x 7.75″.  I have envelopes to fit, so all is well!  I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder and added just one tiny black pearl for the bird’s eye.  My sentiment is from the Thinking of You set by JustRite, which is a sympathy set I just love and I know I’ll get tons of use out of it for years to come — and that’s exactly why I chose to carry it in the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store — it’s a keeper in my book!  I stamped my image with Versa Fine Onyx Black ink, which has long been my favorite ink for crisp, true black images.  I cut the image with my Classic Oval Nestabilites by Spellbinders.  My bottom border is THE most sumptuous Velvet Zig Zag ribbon by May Arts — just love it — another new find and now included in the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Shopping:

The Stamp Simply Ribon Store carries these items to make this card:  Thinking of You Set, 2 1/4″ x 3 1/16″ Oval Stamper, both by JustRite, Versa Fine Onyx Black Ink, May Arts Black Zig Zag Ribbon, Scor-It.

Thank you so much for stopping in today.  We have out of town relatives visiting and have been busy with them.  It’s so fun to see everyone, and we are enjoying nice warm summer weather as well!  Hope you are enjoying some pleasant summer weather and fun activities as well!!!  See you soon!!!

If the card is 7.75 where do you get card stock the is 15.5 inches? cased the card and then realized my card was not nearly as tall as yours and it needs to be.
