Stamp Simply #104 – Halloween is Almost Here!
Halloween is Almost Here! – Today’s challenge is to make a card or project for Halloween, or perhaps a bag or container for treats! Anything goes. And I realize some don’t care to do Halloween, and that’s just fine — then just incorporate a pumpkin into your project! Everyone can play, and we hope you do!!!
Keyword ssnotime104 – There is no time limit. You can play this challenge and upload your project at Splitcoast and/or your Blog, anytime at all. You (and that means anyone and everyone, blogger or not!) can play as many times as you like!!! The point is to keep it simple, quick and have fun!!! Please link back here.

And here’s what I created for today:
It’s a small piece of wall decor! Actually, I like to make hanging things to hang on my cabinet knobs in the kitchen. You know how you like to just *look at your stuff* after you make it — or am I the only one who does that — LOL!!! I usually have something hanging on a knob in my kitchen, so this will now replace the summery floral I currently have there. It just makes me feel good to have a created object right where I can always see it — NUTS, or what – LOL!!! That’s OK — I’m happy!!! For this photo it is displayed in a photo stand. I actually picked up a couple of these photo stands at a gas station in Wisconsin on our way to Shipshewana this summer. I thought they were the neatest things. Anyway, not much to say about my project, so I’ll just leave you with the recipe — oh, it’s 3 3/4 x 5 3/4″ high. The Buttery Gold Silk Ribbon is knotted so it can hang on my cabinet pull.

What a terrific decorating idea for those seasonal items we all love! Your gorgeous ribbon adds just the right flair to this bewitching photo-framed Halloween kitty!
Well this is wonderful and fun (looking for that pumpkin though). Hey, I agree it’s fun to look at one’s own creations from time to time and what a great idea to hang them on door knobs.
i just love it Sharon! it’s sooo cute!!
What an awesome decorating idea!! Love that buttery ribbon/bow … gorgeous!! Have a great weekend!!
So Adorable Sharon, I love the Journal Notes image, reminds me of when I was a little girl. My aunt had a black cat she called “Blackie.” As children, we (my mom has 7 siblings, I have tons of cousins) always made up jokes about the cat and superstitions around Halloween. This design struck a chord and brought back fond childhood memories . . . thank you.
Very Cute Sharon!!! What a great idea hanging something on your cupboard for the different seasons, especially something you have made!
Beautiful ribbon too!!!
Joan
Cute Halloween item and I like the stand too. I enjoy looking at what I have made too and sometimes like it even better the next day! Your ribbons are beautiful and I am hoping to try some of them soon! Really like all the cards you make.
Fabulous Sharon!! Just heading out! Have a great weekend.!!
Super cute idea and do I love your bow??? You betcha! ( quote from Sarah Palin). Did you by any chance use the Bow Easy?…oh come on now, you can confess if you did. Very cute and of course I had to stick my two cents in and you can check me out. Pat http://rubbermaid.blogspot.com/
SOOOO cute, Sharon! I really love this one! The image is adorable! Such a cutie! Hope you are doing well! Thanks for the fun challenge! :)Have a great weekend!
It has been quite a while since I did one of your challenges, Sharon; but I was so happy to see today’s. I love doing Halloween cards. My sister and I make Halloween cards for the 90 residents in the assisted living facility where my mom lives. Halloween is such a fun holiday for kids and adults alike.
Your project is super cute! Here’s my card — http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1476179?&cat=500&ppuser=72594
Whew, now I don’t feel so guilty when I admire something I made, lol! Love this…so much…I think I might make myself one! Nice Sharon!
Sharon, this is fabulous! LOVE that yummy ribbon, and it’s so perfect with the Crafty Secrets panel you used! Now I’m gonna’ spend the weekend bugging hubby for new kitchen cabinets so I can have pulls to hang things on! LOL
LOL — Sometimes I will leave a card laying out, just so I can see it when i walk by — most of mine fly away to the company, but sometimes I hang on to ’em for a few extra days before I send em away!!! So glad you do this too — always glad to have company in doing things that sound strange!!!!!! LOL!!!
I love this kitty creation! Of course I do!!! You can also put me in the crazy cat lady category, I know I have company there too!
I just love your style! I look forward everyday to something beautiful and special from you Sharon! Keep it coming.
