Stamp Simply #116 – Tag it Pretty!
Tag it Pretty! Today’s challenge is to make a gift tag — something you can just hang on a gift, a bag handle or box — just a little bit of handmade loveliness that tells the recipient they are special to you! And our over-riding theme here at Stamp Simply for the entire month is SUPER SIMPLE, so check back each week for more SUPER SIMPLE challenges as the month progresses!
Keyword ssnotime116 – There is no time limit. You can play this challenge and upload your project at Splitcoast and/or your Blog, anytime at all. You (and that means anyone and everyone, blogger or not!) can play as many times as you like!!! The point is to keep it simple, quick and have fun!!! Please link back here.
This is our first challenge for another new month — December. WHERE did the time go? And a new month means it’s time to say goodbye to one Guest Designer and welcome in another. Today we sadly say *Goodbye* to Bethany Paull — oh, it’s been SO fun to have Bethany with us during all of November!!! Her creations were an absolute joy! Thank you so much, Bethany, for playing along with us this month — and hope you can stick around and play as time permits!!! Thank you SO much.
And today we warmly welcome an old SCS friend as our December Guest Designer — Michelle Woerner, a/k/a sf9erfan. Welcome, Michelle! Michelle always has a good dose of *pretty* incorporated into her work and I’m sure most of you are well familiar with her already. Michelle’s work can be seen on her blog, Stop and Stamp the Roses. If you haven’t been there before, you’re in for a real treat!
Check out the great samples for the Stamp Simply Challenge today on the blogs of these fabulous designers:

And here’s my stamped simply tags for this week:
These are the wrapped gifts. I used Antique Gold 100% Silk Ribbon, just tied around the box like wrapping a package. I then tied my bow the old fashioned way — like tying a shoe — NO Bow Easy today – LOL!!! My tags are small 2.5″ squares that open like a card. I used my 2″ Square Monogram Stamper Kit by JustRite for the monograms and frames. They are simply stamped in VersaMark and gold embossed, then matted onto colored cardstock. A really quick make!
I took this picture just to show you the pretty ornaments. I bought them last week at Shopko and as gorgeous as the ornaments themselves are, what truly drew my attention to them in the first place was the nice, hard, clear plastic box they came in. I love to wrap things simply, but attractively, and these boxes were just the ticket!!! Had to have them!!! I got them at 50% off last week, and today I noticed they were 60% off. As my DH would say, wait a few more days and they’ll be giving the darn things away — LOL — I only wish!!!
