A Simple Gift…

Published by at 8 43 pm under Gift Item

…that warmed my heart on this very cold December night.  I just HAD to share with you this heartwarming gift that I received in the mail today.  So simply done — so understated and absolutely perfect — a gift from the heart —

A very simplistic wreath stamped, framed in a distressed wood frame, and adorned with tiny gemstone berries.  The frame back is covered with the same DP as is used on the card.  A perfect little gift both to make and to receive.  My heart skipped a beat when I opened the package today — totally unexpected, flooding my soul with absolute delight!

This is a perfect example of what hand crafted gifts are all about.  It is simple, it is striking, it was made by hand and is beautifully appropriate for the season.  Thank you so much, my friend!!!  You have no idea how you’ve blessed my day!!!

I felt compelled to share this project with you today as I know most of my readers come here looking for inspiration for simple  projects — and I could not keep this from you!  I hope it inspires you as it has me.  And you can bet I’ll be looking for some simple little frames on my next shopping trip!!!

You may see the original post of the card here and of the framed wreath here.

Thanks for stopping in!!!  Have a wonderful, crafty weekend!  See you real soon!
