A gift of cash — can it be used in a romantic situation?  I dare say, YES! With the help of JustRite’s NEW Romantic Sentiments.  This set will be released on January 1 by JustRite Stampers and today we are sneak peeking it for you all to see!  Take a peek at the new sentiment I used today:

LOVE this sentiment and LOVE the fonts and style used in Romantic Sentiments.  It was just perfect for my need today!  One of my sons has a gift giving occasion coming up (not Christmas).  Well, you know guys — it’s hard sometimes to choose an appropriate gift for a special girl!  So, how do you give cash and still come across as a romantic sort of guy?  Well, you dress it up all pretty, you take her on a shopping trip, bring her to the store, and let her do her own selecting.  And in all reality, that’s probably the best bet most of the time — LOL!!! Here’s the entire gift:

Remember that altered cookie tin?  It was posted here on my Blog and here as an SCS tutorial.  It already had her initials on it, SO there wasn’t much left to complete the gift — all we needed was a small money holder to put into the altered tin.  The money holder will be wrapped in tissue so as to fill up the tin nicely!

Here’s a better look at the money holder which I made to coordinate with the tin.  It was so quick and easy.  It is 3.5″ square, just large enough to hold a folded bill.  The sentiment circle serves both as the focal image and as the clasp to open and close the money holder.  This is a fun little size and would work well to tuck a few dollars into and use as a stocking stuffer.  It measures 3.5″ square.  Cut your paper 8″ x 3.5″.  Score at 3″ and 6.5″.  Fold up the smaller flap to form the money pocket.

Here’s a look at the opened view.  You can see the  little pocket and how I’ve attached the focal sentiment circle to use it also as a clasp by adhering a Clear Velcro Dot.

And here’s a visual of the set I used, Romantic Sentiments.  It contains 9 center sentiments that can be used either on your 1 5/8″ Stamper as I did today, OR on your 2″ Stamper with the 2″ Round Wide Borders.  This set offers a lot of versatility for all those special occasions we all need cards for — weddings, anniversaries, Valentine’s or Sweetist’s Day — also great for general purpose cards using the Live, Laugh, Love and the Sunshine sentiments!
