Flower Soft Blog Hop

We have some fun Flower Soft projects for you today!  The Design Team has been working with these darling Hedgerow Friends Card Toppers — totally fun little images.  I chose to work with this one because he looks like a boy Hedgehog and he has a warm and fuzzy scarf — something we all need up here in Michigan’s UP.  Here’s my card:

Isn’t he just darling!  I think this is great for either a general purpose pick-me-up type of card or even for a Valentine if you want something that’s not too lovey-dovey!  This was quick and easy to make – NO stamping.  My card is 5.5″ square.  I used White and SU Garden Green cardstock to coordinate with the image and Christmas Green 100% Silk Ribbon.  I used 3 colors of Flower Soft to give all the fun dimension.  Here’s a closer look:

With all the dimension you just want to reach out and touch this darling little guy!  I used Nut Brown Flower Soft for his hair, Autumn Mix Flower Soft for the border flowers on the heart topiary and the flowers around the pot base, and Sunshine Yellow Flower Soft for the stripes on the scarf and a bit on the flowers.  It is all adhered with my Flower Soft Glue

Here’s a visual of the Flower Soft product I used on today’s card.  The Hedgerow Friends pack of Card Toppers I used is called With Love.  It contains 3 of this image shown and 3 of another, for a total of 6 card toppers.  Links to all products are in the Shopping section below.

Now please take the time to check out all the fun projects the rest of the DT has done, as well as the Flower Soft  Blog:
