And here’s my little card for today with a floral theme:

This little card was FUN!  It can be recreated in like 5 or 10 minutes at most.  And it’s small — perfect for giving with a little gift or sticking in a little basket of goodies.  The base card is 3 x 4 1/4.  The entire card  is 4 1/4″ square once the top tab is added.  It was quick because I used an image from Journal Notes by Crafty Secrets and merely stamped and cut one single sentiment using my Circle Nestabilities by Spellbinders.  And the sentiment I used is a brand new sentiment from a fun new set by JustRite Stampers.  It is called Seeds of Kindness and I’ll show you the graphics a bit later.  It’s certainly a keeper that’ll be used time and time again.

Here’s a closer view of my card top.  You can see the simply stamped and cut fun sentiment — SO easy.  And to make the arched framework behind it I used my Labels 13 Die Templates by Spellbinders.  Yes, this is the same set of dies that I revealed for Spellbinders 2 days ago — you can see those posts here and here if you missed them.  Can you recognize the pretty shape?  Here I am only using about 3/4 of the die cut shape.  The top half is exposed to create my pretty framework card topper and the rest is tucked and secured between the layers.  The Labels 13 Die Template shape makes such a nice perfect staging for the round die cut sentiments.  Totally FUN, giving such importance and presence to my simple little single layer sentiment!  My bow is 100% Silk Ribbon in Mauve, tied on the Bow Easy.

JB-09735 Seeds of Kindness 1 5-8 Circles (3)

These are the graphics to JustRite’s newest sentiment set, Seeds of Kindness.  I think they are such pretty sentiments to use on our floral creations of any sort!  There are 6 centers and 6 borders that are interchangeable. They fit the 1 5/8″ and the 2″ Round Wood Stampers.  SEEDS OF KINDNESS sells for $14.95.  They can be used with the beautiful florals that JustRite has just come out with, or as I did today — making a super fast project with a preprinted image and a simply stamped sentiment!

And speaking of the new JustRite Florals, the DT girls have been sneak peeking them all week, but since I didn’t have a chance to play, I’ll show them to you here.  Both sets have 4 center and 4 borders, totally interchangeable, that fit the 3 1/4″ Round Wood Stampers and they are GREAT for coloring.  Here they are:

JB 09705 My Garden Borders

The one is MY GARDEN and it sells for $16.95.

JB 09700 Plant a Little Love

And this set is PLANT A LITTLE LOVE, also selling for $16.95.

And I’d like to link you to some great samples made this week by some of the JustRite DT girls, just in case you’ve been remiss like me and haven’t kept up with all that is going on.  Check out these beautiful and inspiring creations:  Barb Schram (socks??? TOO cute),  Barb Schram again (total gorgeousness!), gosh and Barb is going monogram crazy too, so just check it all out here – total WOW!  Check out Kathy Jones’ gorgeous sample of both Kindness and Love, her Garden Daisy, and lovely Hydrangea.   Way pretty!! Stop at the JustRite Blog for Sharon Harnist’s Copic Coloring Tutorial– you won’t want to miss it!  And don’t miss Becca Feeken’s super FAB Sunshine card — totally cool!  Check out how Heidi Blankenship has Planted a Little Love,  Michele Kovak’s pretty My Garden creation and her Plant a Little Love beauty!  And be sure to scroll down through Angela Barkhouse’s Blog to see all of her fun creations with these new sest!  What FAB DT creations have been popping up all week long!

And I have just read that these botanical sets are NOW shipping!!!  That’s a GREAT surprise!!!

What an extremely neat card! Coming from you Sharon I am not at all surprised but my first thought was, wouldn’t some mom be tickled pink to receive such a pretty card for Mother’s Day and she would probably use it as a book mark. Can’t you just see that proud mom the day after Mother’s Day, walking into work carrying her favorite book in her arms with the top of the card, from the bow up, sticking out? You just gota love it…..
