Birthday Candy

Published by at 7 02 am under Blog Candy

Good morning everyone!  Today is my birthday — 56 to be exact.  So I thought I’d start my day by offering you some Blog Candy.  Since the latest item I’ve added to The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store is the Stamp Simply Lilac Avenue Kit, I thought that would be a good choice.  Here it is:

lilac-avenue-full-480.jpg

The Stamp Simply Lilac Avenue Kit $41.25

($45.84 when purchased individually)

To enter the drawing just leave a comment below.  And since I’m always wondering what type of ribbon to purchase next — just leave me a quick note telling me what type of ribbon is on your wish list for spring.  A winning number will be drawn by random.org at midnight on Tuesday, Jan 19.  Thanks for playing along!

Have a GREAT weekend, everyone!

  115. Happy, happy birthday! (a day late — having computer issues) Hope you had a wonderful day — you should stretch it out to the whole weekend! So yeah, silk ribbon rocks. Thanks for the chance to win all this gorgeous stuff — it’s one of my most favorite color combos!

Lilac Avenue….

My favorite ribbon to work with is sheers as they do seem to flow nicely if the correct width per the project us used otherwise they just flop. Funny thing Sharon, about an hour ago I discovered the one you zapped with the heat gun on the Heartfelt card! Very interesting!!!

Happy Birthday Sharon and I hope you got to enjoyed your special day today.

Happy Birthday Sharon! You have been very inspirational to me. You introduced me to JR and I love your style.

I’m a huge polka dot ribbon fan. However, I love them on grosgrain, in sharp pretty colours and not so much on see through ribbon fabric. I also do not tend to use anything wider than 5/8″ (mostly 3/8 & 5/8). Hope that helps!

Happy Birthday! I don’t have much ribbon, but on my list is satin and gingham ribbons. Thank you so much for the chance on the blog candy! 🙂

I like the variety of ribbons you carry. I’m getting hooked on ribbon and I’m entranced by the silk ribbon I’ve seen on your site and that other crafty bloggers are using. 1/2″ (or 3/8″ or 5/8″), something in between the 1/8″ and the 1.25″, would be great for the smaller cards I make. Thanks!

Happy Belated Birthday! Mine was the 16th…Love the ribbons you use. I like tone on tone and don’t find too many of these. Blessings
