Just wanted to show you today a really quick card I made and also some new ribbon and paper I just got in at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  Let’s start with the card:

This is most definitely my most favorite *go-to* style of card that I make often when I’m in a time crunch.  It makes up in just minutes.  The trick is to use a pre-printed image for your focal point.  I love using the Journal Notes by Crafty Secrets.  These small booklets are filled with beautiful images such as this one that is from the Birds and Botanicals pad.  It is simply matted on SU Close to Cocoa on a Pink Pirouette card base with a scrap of paper from the Old World Stack by DCWV and tied with my Taupe 100% Silk Ribbon, the bow being made on the Bow Easy.  The frame hanger I made on top is a Spellbinders die set, Flourish Accent, that I use often, trimmed up with some Kaiser Rhinestones. Easy, peasy as they say,  and done in a jiffy!!!

Now let’s move on to my new ribbon.  LOVE this new Wrinkled Ribbon in a 1/2″ width. It is available in a ton of pretty colors as seen below, but here’s a close up picture so you can actually see what the ribbon looks like:

I don’t have a project made up with this ribbon yet, but I will soon to show you.  It is light weight and kind of *wrinkly*, which is fun!  It is 1/2″ wide and ties up into pretty little bows.  It somewhat resembles my favorite 100% Silk Ribbon, but is stiffer and heavier in comparison to the silk, though still a very light weight ribbon.

And I’m making this ribbon available to you BY THE SPOOL ONLY, but at a very affordable price.  I love custom-cutting all your ribbon orders, but there are just not enough hours in a day to cut all the ribbon you want.  Therefore, I’ve had to put minimum cuts on several ribbons.  This allows me to have girls come in and cut and wrap ribbon to standard lengths so they are ready to go when orders are placed.  However, there are still more ribbons I would love to offer you, but unless I can streamline the process it is getting increasingly harder to offer more and more ribbons.  So I’ve decided to bring in certain ribbons that will be available BY THE SPOOL ONLY.  You will save by purchasing by the spool.  And if you can’t use the entire spool yourself, how about sharing with a friend.  Here are all the colors available:
