My Color Challenge Card for You

Your Kindness Touched my Heart… truly it did and does.  Thank you all so much for the comments and emails as to my Dad’s health issues.  He is holding his own, still hospitalized.  Things have settled down, tests have been run and he is resting… and we are all still praying.  Thank you all SO much for your words of kindness and prayers.  They are appreciated more than you know.

I wanted to play our Stamp Simply #135 Color Challenge, even though I ‘m a little late, so I made this card for you:

Clean and simple, quickly done, making use of a flocked sheet from Kaiser’s Lilac Avenue pad.  I added the Champagne Pearls to add the POP it lacked without them.  I used a single layer sentiment from Joyful Hearts by JustRite (small oval), popped it up, added my Ivory Silk Bow and called it done!  In all honestly, these super quick and simple cards are my ALL TIME FAV to make.  I know many like to labor intensively over a card, but I truly take great satisfaction from using just a few pretty items and playing with the arrangement, colors and layout until it suits my fancy.  This is one of those cards.

The card is 5.5″ square and the cardstock is SU’s Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip to fit in with today’s challenge, my purple’s coming from Kaiser’s Lilac Avenue.

Just a closer look at the detail.  The bow is a single looped bow made on the largest legs of the Bow Easy, adhered to the card with Aleene’s Fast Grab Tacky Glue from Wal-Mart.  I had several packages of Champagne Pearls started, so I used up all the odds and ends left from several packages, so that is always a good feeling as well!
