Here’s mine:

I made a clean and simple card measuring 5.5 x 7.5″ using Bayberry Cottage DP by Pink Paislee.  I really enjoy this size — gives me more room.  My 3D Flower is a Ribbon Rose that I made using the 2″ Silky, Crushed, Wired Ribbon.  Gosh, it works GREAT for flowers!  Being wired it was just a matter of folding and taking 1 stitch with each fold to hold it all in place.  Actually, it was a wrap, not a fold, so easy!   The leaves were also done with the same ribbon in Olive.  They were just folded in half and stitched at the bottom to hold in place.

My sentiment is from HOPE, an April release by JustRite.  I have a card set in the works using HOPE, a FAB set for cards of encouragement.  I used 12″ of ribbon to make my rose and one leaf used 3″ and the other used 4″ of ribbon.   After wrapping the ribbon and securing with a few stitches it is SO easy to just do whatever you want with your rose and leaves as the wired ribbon ensures that they hold their shape.  All I did was to squish it flatter with the palm of my hand — did the trick!  The trailing pink is 1/4″ Silk Ribbon.

On a personal note, my Dad is coming along quite well.  Thank you all so much for your prayers and notes of well wishes!  He is continuing to gain strength and is getting a lot of PT to get back into the swing of things.  Hopefully in a few weeks he can go back home!  He is not without problems as little thinks continue to crop up, but prayerfully these will all be overcome as well as the bigger obstacles he has already faced.  Please continue to keep him in prayer — and I thank you SO much for that!

And as always, I thank you for stopping in today.  Hope you can try to make a creation with a 3-D flower sometime soon — totally FUN!!!  Have a wonderful weekend ahead!!! And I hope to be back real soon with some more projects I have in the works!!!
