Christmas in July — It’s beginning to look a lot like … Christmas in July! This week, Deb Neerman challenges us to create a Christmas, Kwanzaa, or Hanukkah card. The more festive, the better! Pop in a holiday CD and break out the snow flake dies, the red and green card stock, and the holiday charms. Get a jump-start on your holiday card-making and play along! And today I have a very clean and simple Christmas card to show you:
I have always loved this style of card — very classic, clean and simple. The card is 5.5″ square and I used SU Bashful Blue and White. My darling new snowflake and border are included in a NEW JustRite Christmas release called From Our House – $16.95. It, along with the other June Christmas releases will be arriving on my doorstep in just a couple days, so feel free to place your orders now. This set requires a 2″ Square Stamper, sold separately for $9.95. Email me at [email protected] to order, including your state/zip OR country.
Here’s a closer look at the detail. I used VersaFine Onyx Black ink which gives the crisp appearance I always like. My layers are cut with Square Nesties by Spellbinders and my snowflake is sparkled up with Ice Blue Kaiser Rhinestones. All available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store along with all JustRite product.
Here’s a visual of the set I used today – From Our House – $16.95.

Sharon, This card is just gorgeous. I love the clean look of blue and white as you can see from the card I made for the challenge LOL!! That image is just so pretty with its little pearls. Do hope you have the clear round stampers in soon – methinks time for another order – ohhhh dear!!
Every time I visit your site, I find something I love. This card is so simple and yet so very special, I can feel the cold from the blue is on the snowflake and that is a something amazing when it is 90 outside today.

Great challenge and lovely card, so clean and fresh looking – very elegant too! Love the gentle colors as well.
This is my first time participating and I had a great time making a Christmas card with time to spare!
I’ve really enjoyed this challenge and am inspired to get an early start on my Christmas cards, it’s shocking. I’d better have some chocolate to help cope with this organized side of my character!
Thanks for a timely, helpful challenge for the holidays! They creep up much too soon.
Love the snowflake….wish it was that time of the year, it has been in the upper 90’s for the past month. Could use some snowflakes to cool it off. That set is a MUST have!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful ideas.
