Stamp Simply #149 – Two’s Company

Two’s Company  – Deb Neerman provides a second challenge for us this month.  Today Deb is suggesting that two’s company … three’s a crowd?  That’s true because this week we challenge you to use “2 of Something” on your card or other project.  Some fun twosomes include: 2 different patterned papers, 2 different stamped images, 2 brads, 2 flowers, 2 bows, or 2 charms.  Be creative … but don’t add that third ‘something’ … only 2 are allowed!  Have fun with this one!!!

Anyone is welcome and invited to play!  SCS Keyword is ssnotime149 for those who upload at SCS.  There is no time limit. You can play this challenge anytime at all.  The point is to keep it simple, quick and have fun!!!

And be sure to Link to Mr. Linky below.

Check out the fab samples on the blogs of the Stamp Simply Challenge DT:

And today I have a vintage Baby Congratulations Card to show you:

In keeping with the challenge I used two sheets of designer paper, two ribbons, two buttons, two pearls, two rounded corners, two sides completed (inside and out), but please, PLEASE, don’t look at all those rhinestones on my corner flourish — they just HAD to be there — truly, they did!!!  LOL!!!!  Two rhinestones just did NOT cut it — so I HAD to do the right thing and add the rest!!!

Paper:  Webster’s Pages Combo 6×6 Pack (Lullaby/Life)

Stamp:  All Occasion Nested Sentiments by JustRite used on a Clear Rectangle Stamper

Ink:  VersaFine Onyx Black (my fav for crisp, dark sentiments)

Die:  Spellbinders Floral Accent decorated with Kaiser Rhinestones in pink

I used some brand new ribbon today that May Arts will be showcasing at CHA — it’s the 1.5″ Crochet Lace with Velvet Center — I am TOTALLY swooning over this lush, vintage looking ribbon.  You can see it in all colors below.  I have it in stock and ready to ship.  I also used my 100% Silk in Mauve for the Bow, made on the Bow Easy. I put a couple Kaiser Pearls on my bow knot to dress it up a bit.

And here’s the card inside – LOVE this Webster’s pad for vintage looking projects and there are so many sheets in it just adorable for baby, but being 2-sided sheets, you don’t need to use them all for baby projects if you don’t have babies in your life.
