And here’s my card for today:

More layers than I usually like to do for a Stamp Simply Challenge, but I just had to go with the flow once I started!  The vintage image that I chose to do in Cracked Glass is an image I cut out from one of the sheets in a new  8×8 pad of Conservatory by  7 Gypsies.  This paper has such gorgeous vintage designs, I knew I had to use it for my Cracked Glass project! I have this pad in stock in both 8×8 and 6×6.  Cardstock used is SU Bashful Blue and Very Vanilla.  Ink is Memento Rich Cocoa. I adhered my cut out image to a piece of cardstock before doing the Cracked Glass Technique.  It gave it the stability it needed.

I’m in LOVE with my new Primas.  These are Poetic Whispers Primas, 2 per pack, and the package this came from was Cream.  I have an Ivory Silk Bow behind the Prima and now I have to eat my words!  I have told people time and time and time again that the BIGGER Bow Easy is too big for cards — it’s for wreaths, packages, home decor.  WELL, today I used the BIGGER Bow Easy for the bow on this card.  FIRST TIME I’ve used it for a bow for a card, and I’m definitely going to have to change my opinion!  This Prima is 3″ across and I wanted my Silk Bow to show, so I pulled out the BIGGER Bow Easy.  It’s smallest legs create a 4″ bow, so that was PERFECT!!! 

The sentiment is from Birthday Centers by JustRite and fits the 1 5/8″ and 2″ Stampers.  I cut it out with my Circle Nesties by Spellbinders, and I used a Fancy Tags die by Spellbinders for the accent along side the Cracked Glass image.  Kaiser Pearls in brown are added for accents.  The brown lace is from a ribbon card by Webster’s Pages and the ivory is 1.25″ Crochet Lace by May Arts.
