Candy Winner and A Christmas CASE!

First of all, let’s get to our Blog Candy Winner from  our Stamp Simply Gift Ideas for Autumn Crafting Blog Hop earlier this week.  The Candy offering was our latest KIT.  Here it is:

Stamp Simply Kaisercraft Utopia KIT

Kit contents and other Kits can be seen here.

And random.org selected Michelle Woerner’s Blog as the blog from which to select the Winner.  So let’s check out Michelle’s Blog to see who won!!!  Congrats! to the winner and a great BIG THANK YOU to all who hopped along with us and left such generous and kind comments!  MUCH appreciated!

And speaking of Michelle — I must tell you — I was TOTALLY taken away by the absolutely darling, clean and simple cards that she made for her hop project.  If you can’t remember them, you can see them here.  The moment I saw those cards I wanted to drop everything and try my hand at that intriguing CAS layout.  Well, today I finally did, and that’s what I have to share with you here today — my CASE of Michelle’s first card in the post linked above.  And for those wondering, CASE is an acronym for Copy and Share Everything — LOL!!!  Here’s my first attempt:

I had SUCH fun doing these cards.  I do believe I’ll make more of these for our own Christmas cards this year.  This paper is Basic Grey’s Jovial in 6×6.  The Sentiment is from JustRite’s Whimsical Christmas, the ribbon is May Arts Striped Twill with a little Burlap String, and the circles were all cut with my Circle Nesties by Spellbinders.  Ink used on both cards is VersaFine Onyx Black.

Same layout, I just fancied it up a bit with my beloved Silk Ribbon and a Fairytale Prima in French White.  The bow was made on the Bow Easy.  I ran 1/4″ Silk Ribbon through 5/8″ Crochet Lace— it’s the perfect lace for threading through the center.  This pretty Christmas paper is Tis the Season by Kaisercraft in 6×6. The sentiment is from JustRite’s Christmas Joy.

All items are available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  To order, just email me at [email protected] with your list, your state/zip or Country, and I’ll get back to you.
