Bible Bookmark
I am giving a friend a gift today — a Women’s Devotional Bible — so I got up early to make a bookmark to give with it.
Oh, how I wanted to embellish this bookmark with rhinestones or pearls, but I didn’t. It is meant to be used to mark pages in this Bible, so I didn’t want to add anything that may damage the pages, so other than the jumbo eyelet on top, it’s totally flat. The ribbon tassels are Fuchsia and White 1/2″ Wrinkled Ribbon and my Satin String Leaves. The stamped verse is Proverbs 3:5, a Plain Jane by Verve. It is stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black on a heavy weight vellum. Paper is DeLovely by Cosmo Cricket. Spellbinders die is Fleur de Lis Borderabilities. The punch I used for the top is ancient and I can’t find it — I would carry it if I could find it! It’s called a Deco Corner Punch, I think it was by McGill and I believe SU used to have a similar punch years ago.
Please note: I do have these Fleur de Lis dies in stock, even though they are not showing up with the rest on my store page — so sorry! I’ll fix that this evening.

Very pretty. I give Bible bookmarks away as Christmas presents to my fellow Bible Study ladies. I do some of the corner ones as well as yours here. They come together quickly and are always liked and used.
