More CAS and Many New Things!

Another Saturday with much to share.  I have new stamps to show you and some new holiday ribbon, but first I REALLY wanted to do another Clean and Simple Christmas Card.  To me, Clean and Simple is the perfect solution for Christmas cards when we are super busy as it is and are then faced with far more than normal cards to produce.  Here’s a simple card, easily made in a style I enjoy:

This was hard to photo — I got glare no matter what I tried — a photographer I am not, but I try! This is so pretty IRL and the photo just doesn’t do it justice.  It is 5.5″ square using SU Bashful Blue Cardstock.  The two inner squares were cut using my Square Nesties, but the largest was just cut on the paper cutter.

I LOVE this new stamp I just picked up (new to me) called Adornment by Penny Black (wood mount, 3.25″ square – $10.95).  The moment I saw it I knew it had to be mine!  On this card I embossed it in silver and added some blue Kaiser Rhinestones, edging the white panels with my Krylon Silver Leafing Pen.  It’s so easy to do — lay down a scrap paper and place your cardstock panel on top of it.  Starting at one corner, push the tip of the pen into the paper and a sort of groove forms in the pen tip, allowing you to just pull the pen towards you.  A PERFECT line, every time!  Repeat for all 4 sides.  Quick and easy with classy results!

I have a good supply of Krylon Silver Leafing Pens at $7.25, as well as Pale Gold and Shimmer Red.  Sorry, but I’m out of stock on the 18 kt Gold.

As to the Adornment stamp — well I ordered a lot, but only a handful arrived (always the problem), so supply is very limited right now, but  I do have a few with hopes the rest will arrive soon!  SOLD OUT TODAY — IF YOU WANT TO BE ADDED TO THE LIST FOR THE NEXT SHIPMENT, JUST EMAIL ME — [email protected] — thanks!

Since I had no sentiment on the outside of my card, it was important to stamp a pretty sentiment on the inside.  I’m still using my go-to set for Christmas sentiments this year – JustRite’s Christmas Nested Sentiments ($14.95), used on their Clear Rectangle Stampers ($23.95), making proper placement super easy!  I have both in stock as well.

Late last evening my store order of the NEW JustRITE Cling line arrived!  Oh happy day!!!  I haven’t had a chance to use them yet, but I can’t wait to do so!!!  These sets are deeply etched, red rubber, mounted on static cling foam.  They easily cling to any standard acrylic block and they store beautifully on the ring binder storage sheet they come on!

PLEASE NOTE:  These stamps are STANDARD CLING type stamps.  They DO NOT have the grooved back and DO NOT require the JustRite Original stampers.  Any clear acrylic block works perfectly!  I was SO elated to hear JustRite was offering us their new CLING line!  We have MUCH to look forard to!  But don’t worry, they will continue providing us with new images for the JustRite Original line as well! The BEST of both worlds!!!

Take a look at these 5 sets in the first JustRite CLING release. Each set sells for $19.95 and I have them all in stock.
