Well Preserved! — Is anyone out there still canning, or freezing or drying your summer harvest?  Or is anyone preparing those previously preserved goodies for Thanksgiving or Christmas gifts?  Today is all about preserving our fruits of the harvest.  Take this food related theme wherever it brings you — use food type stamps, papers or embellishments on a card, decorate a jar of canned goods, or even wrap and decorate a chocolate bar — we’re easy!  Let’s just see some lovely fruits, veggies or any type of edible in today’s creations!!!

Anyone is welcome and invited to play!  SCS Keyword is ssnotime166 for those who upload at SCS.  There is no time limit. You can play this challenge anytime at all.  The point is to keep it simple, quick and have fun!!!

And here’s my well preserved project for today:

4 quart jars of salsa that I made earlier this fall.  I fell in love with this basket when I saw it at Wal-Mart and I picked up a few of them.  The ribbons are 7/8″ Gingham in Red and Green.  One of my Circle Nesties was the perfect size to make a circle to fit so nicely inside the lid/ring.  All papers used are from Garden Variety by Cosmo Cricket – 6×6 – $5.99.

Just a very simple tag stamped with JustRite’s Give Thanks Nested Frames and Occassions$14.95, used on the Clear Rectangle Stampers$23.95, stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink, tied onto the basket with 1/8″ Jute Cording.

All items available from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

To order just email me at [email protected] with your list and your state/zip OR country and I’ll get back to you with an invoice.  Thanks!

The whole thing is adorable. Love the dp on the tops of the jars, the ribbon, and that fab basket. You have such a good eye. I probably would have walked right by those baskets, but you saw them as the treasures they are. Glad we get to share your talents.
