Friendship – A Gift to Give
Last week I had the pleasure of having Jessie over to work on some projects she wanted to give as Christmas gifts. Her friends will never find them here, so we figured it’s safe to post and share! Jessie was in a wedding not long ago and this snapshot was taken there. All 4 girls in the photo lived together as college roommates. Jessie loved this candid photo of them all and had several copies made to give each girl as a gift. She wanted to fancy up the frames and add a sentiment, and this is what she came up with – I KNOW the girls will all love and cherish their gift:
Jessie is on the far right. I had some darling pics of her working on these projects, but they all came blurry. I guess I take so many close ups of cards I forgot how to photo people – NOT a good thing!!! LOL!!!
Jessie loved this Hot Pink 1″ Grosgrain with Satin Edge, but wanted to mute it down with the 1″ Black Tinsel Sheer. We did the bows on the Bow Easy and just made sure to leave really long tails so they could be wrapped and secured on the back of the frame using Scor Tape.
The 1″ Tinsel Sheer was attached to the frame first, then Scor Tape was adhered on the back of the 3/8″ Metallic Velvet that was then attached over the Tinsel Sheer. We both loved how the picture fame looked like a wrapped gift.
Jessie chose this sentiment from Friendship Nested Sentiments by JustRite. There are a total of 8 sentiments on this set all with a Friendship theme — great for cards, scrapbooks or projects of this nature.
