Graphic 45 Once Upon a Springtime KIT

Today I made a sympathy card and a wedding card using Graphic 45’s Once Upon a Springtime — and, of course, I had to make this lovely pad into a KIT!  The pad features lovely and somewhat whimsical prints of pretty little fairies and Beatrix Potter-like bunnies, but there are plenty of prints in the pad to create more serious cards as well, and those are the sheets you’ll see me using in today’s creations.

This is a much overdue sympathy card for a friend whose husband died very unexpectedly.  I kept it simple as it is in remembrance of a man, but made it pretty as it is for a woman, trying to find a happy medium.  Our deepest sympathy goes out to Jackie and her family as they mourn the loss of a loving husband and father.  May you be lifted up daily by God’s loving grace.

Stamp used is from JustRite’s Sympathy Nested Sentiments and the die used is from JustRite’s Nested Sentiments Dies made by Spellbinders. All other items are contained in the Stamp Simply Graphic 45 Once Upon a Springtime KIT.    The Bow Easy easy was used to tie the bow. All items are in stock.  The green cardstock is SU Old Olive.

This is a wedding card, again overdue, for a New Year’s Day wedding that we were unable to attend.  Our heartfelt wishes for a blessed marriage go out to Rob and Anita!

Though I use the Bow Easy on almost all my bows, there are occasions I don’t use it, and this is one.  Here I have wrapped the silk around the card and just pulled it tight and hand tied my bow — it’s really very quick to do.  I put a dab of Aleene’s Clear Tacky Glue (Wal-Mart) under my bow and use the same glue to adhere my trio of  Prima Fairytale Roses (also included in the KIT).

Gotta LOVE this Mr. & Mrs. stamp included in JustRite’s Wedding Nested Sentiments.  I’ve been itching to use this stamp and finally got to it — and I love it just as much as I knew I would!  Simply stamped right onto the designer paper.  Quick and easy using the Clear Rectangle Stampers, and crisp, clear lettering using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.

Here’s my card inside — a computer generated printout of the Love Chapter, 1 Corinthians 13 — my favorite inside for a wedding card!

Both cards I’ve made today will be encased in a Clear Box for giving/mailing.  A perfect way to protect your dimensional creation and make a HUGE impact!  Link to Clear Boxes is at the end of this post.

All items used above are available and in stock at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Sharon, I’m confused about JustRite’s Nested Sentiments Dies made by Spellbinders. Are they “dies” for sentiments OR printed sentiments to use with a
JustRite stamper? I thought I knew about all about Nestibilities so I’m confused.

Sharon, these are stunning cards – I particularly like the wedding one – and I too love Corinthians 13.1. Infact I did this as a reading in Church for my friends wedding just over a week ago. I also had it read out at my wedding too…

Love the silk ribbon – good work.

Sharon!! That Sympathy is just what I need. A close family lost their son tragically and unexpectantly last weekend. I’ve wanted a special sympathy card to send to them but have been a little shell shock myself to even start one. Thanks to you, I am inspired.

  22. I have observed that more than the course of creating a relationship with real estate proprietors, you’ll be able to get them to realize that, in every real estate financial transaction, a payment is paid. Inside the end, FSBO sellers will not 鈥渟ave鈥?the commission rate. Rather, they fight to earn the commission by basically doing a great agent’s work. In accomplishing this, they devote their cash and also time to execute, as very best they may, the responsibilities of an broker. Those tasks include revealing the home by way of marketing, introducing the home to prospective buyers, building a sense of buyer emergency so that you can make prompt an offer, organizing home inspections, dealing with qualification check ups with the loan company, supervising repairs, and facilitating the closing.

Is there any way I can still purchase the Once Upon a Springtime Kit? It is absolutely beautiful and would love to make cards with it.
