New Prima Pretties

I love creating with pretty things — vintage pretty, shabby pretty, sleek and modern pretty — it matters not — I love them all!  And the new offerings by Prima certainly fit the bill.  Here’s a vintage inspired wedding card that was quick and easy using some new Prima pretties:

Paper:  Botanical Collection by Prima

Ribbon Border:  Valenciennes Collection Borders by Prima – Allie

Silk Bow:  100% Silk by May Arts – 1.25″ Wide Ivory

Bow Making Template:  Bow Easy

Lock and Key:  Vintage Trinkets by Prima

Gold Cord:  Metallic Cord by May Arts

Stamps:  Wedding Nested Sentiments by JustRite

Stamp Block required for above set:  Clear Horizontal Stamper Set by JustRite

Ink:  VersaFine Vintage Sepia

Adhesive:  Scor-Tape

I fell in love with these gorgeous ruffled, rhinestone borders by Prima. I believe they were probably intended for scrapbook pages being about 12″ in length, but they work beautifully on cards.  The fabric is machine gathered and the string of rhinestones is then sewn on by hand — OH, what a labor of love!!!

I used about 4″ of the strip on this card.  Once cutting it, the hand stitches holding the rhinestone strip down were severed where I cut, so I just used a thin piece of Scor-Tape to hold the rhinestones down near where I cut — worked like a charm!

And the Vintage Trinkets by Prima — what fun accents — adding little hanging charms is so fun and adds so much to the appeal of a project.

And WOW!  Did it feel GOOD to make a card!  It’s been a LONG time — way TOO long.

Can’t let THAT happen again – LOL!!!

Thanks for taking the time to stop in today and THANK YOU ALL so much for visiting the NEW online Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  Your kind comments, emails, store visits and orders mean more to me than you know — so glad to hear you are pleased with my efforts.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!!

Hope your week is off to a good start.

I’ll be back soon!
