Sweet Madeline by Prima
I love using designer paper. I often allow it to be the focal point of my project, and today’s birthday card is no exception. The patterns and colors of Prima’s Madeline swept my heart away and I didn’t want to cover any of it up. Paired with a variety of May Arts ribbon, Prima flowers and a tiny JustRite tag gave me just the vintage look I was after.
Paper: Madeline 6×6 by Prima
Flowers: Whisper Collection (Madeline) by Prima
Ribbon by May Arts: 1.5″ and 5/8″ Pleated Satin (Ivory), 1/8″ Velvet (Pink, Ivory)
Adhesive to adhere ribbon: Scor-Tape
Tag: Stamps, Dies and Stamper Included in JustRite’s Happy Everything Tag Making Kit
Inside Sentiment: JustRite’s Wedding Nested Sentiments, requiring a Clear Horizontal Stamper
Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black
My card is a bit a larger at 6.5″ x 4.75″. I like this size as it gives me a bit more room. It is sized to fit perfectly inside an A6 sized Clear Box. I LOVE my clear boxes. I use them to store my cards for protection, to give them when hand delivering (a great presentation always evoking a huge WOW!), and they can be mailed as well. I have them available in our standard US A2 size as well as A6.
