Grand Opening Blog Hop
Welcome to the Grand Opening of The Stamp Simply Online Ribbon Store. It’s been slow in coming, but we are finally ready to celebrate! We have a total of 5 designers sharing projects with you today, a fun progressive Blog Candy offering (read below for details) and a lot of quality items at great sale prices for you to enjoy — Spellbinders, JustRite and a large assortment of paper products are the featured sale items.
But don’t forget to check out the gorgeous new offerings by Prima, Webster’s Pages, Melissa Frances, K & Company, Bo Bunny, Cosmo Cricket, Kaisercraft, LaBlanche, and Pink Paislee to name a few — not to mention the large selection of May Arts ribbons.
Please note that the storefront has a section on the lower right sidebar entitled SPECIALS. You can click there anytime to see all items at reduced prices. If you’re a bargain hunter, that’s a GREAT place to start!
These sale prices apply to items IN STOCK only. Please watch — if an item JUST sold out, it may still be listed in the store, BUT at checkout it will have some *** after it and they will tell you this item is NOT in stock. In that case, please remove the item from your cart as I don’t want you paying for anything that is sold out. Certain items will be restocked after this sale, but these sale prices apply to IN STOCK items only. If you are interested in being notified when the item is back in stock, you may go to that item and on the right sidebar click NOTIFICATIONS. You will receive an email when more inventory is added.
As always, international buyers are welcome. The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store can not calculate international shipping charges. Just click any shipping price option to place your order. Once the order is received, I’ll calculate the proper charges to ship to your address and send you a PayPal invoice for the additional shipping charges.

Now on to my project for today — time is always at a premium, so I kept it very simple:
A pretty trio of cards that I made to keep on hand just for me. I am always short-handed when I need a card. These cards will be well-suited to a variety of occasions from birthday to thinking of you to sympathy. I can stamp an appropriate inside sentiment when the occasion arises.
These cards were so easy to make. I used 12 x 12 paper and stickers from the Botanical series by K & Company. The floral spray used as the focal image is one of the Grand Adhesions stickers in this series, Botanical Icon Grand Adhesions.
Aren’t these Grand Adhesion stickers just the prettiest?
I truly love all the gorgeous sheets in this pad — the patterns and colors are so full of life and spring. The netural colored panel under the focal image is actually recycled — it was the backing sheet that the stickers came on — a PERFECT match!
These focal images were a snap to put together. These stickers have the silver color rhinestones on them, so I just added more Silver Rhinestones in the corners to tie it all together.
This sheet from the pad is my favorite — it’s full of sparkles — SO pretty.
Have you noticed the small banners under the stickers on each card. I made those with my new Ribbon Banner dies by Spellbinders. This set of 4 dies was one of those things that I instantly knew I’d love the moment I first saw it — so fun. You can use them in the more tradional way by stamping sentiments on the banners, or just have fun with them as I did here.
And did you notice — NO RIBBON!!! That doesn’t happen too often! Actually, the plan was to make a box to put these cards in — then they’d be perfect for a little gift — but I ran out of time (my life story!), so maybe the box will come another day. I was going to alter an A2 Clear Box similar to what I did on my last post, and I was going to tie the box with Lavender 100% Silk Ribbon — a perfect match to this paper. The Celery and Ivory Silk are also wonderful compliments to this paper.
A simple trio of cards that you can put together in short order — hope you enjoyed them!

Progressive Blog Candy
The BLOG CANDY offered for our Grand Opening Blog Hop will be an assortment of ribbon from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store — and HOW MUCH ribbon you might receive is totally up to YOU! Here’s how it’ll work:
The winner will be selected by random.org from the Registered Customers of The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, so if you have not Created An Account yet, now is the time to do so. You can create your account here.
The winner selected will receive a BASE amount of $25 to apply towards ribbon of their choice. But the potential for much more is available — here’s how:
1) If the winner has made a purchase from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Online Store since it’s opening and at any time prior to the drawing, then another $10 will be added.
2) If the winner has subscribed to the Newlsetter when they opened their account, another $10 will be added.
3) Another $10 will be added for EACH BLOG in this hop that the winner has commented on. There are a total of 5 of us hopping, so if you comment on all blogs, that’s another $50 added to your ribbon package.
If the winner has met all the above criteria, the total ribbon package will be worth $95 — all ribbon — your choice!!!
The winner will be drawn at 6 p.m. EST on Wednesday, May 4 and will be announced on Sharon’s Blog sometime Thursday morning.
