I made some cards for a few girls being confirmed in our church last Sunday.  As time was of the essence, I made them all the same.  I wanted them bright and cheerful for these lovely young ladies.  They all seemed to sincerely enjoy their cards, so that’s always a good feeling.

These cards are a bit larger at 6.5 x 4.75″, which is my favorite size of late.  This size perfectly fits in the A6 Clear Box. The Clear Box protects the card with its dimension and makes a wonderful presentation.  It can also be used for mailing.  For some reason, people seem to feel really special when they are given a card in a box — and that’s a good thing because it’s so simple to do (not to mention practical with so many of the cards we all make).

I rely on my Verve Plain Janes so often for the perfect scripture — this one is Psalm 51.10.  At only $3.00 per stamp, these are truly little gems in my stamp room that so often perfectly fit the need.  All Verve Plain Janes in stock can be seen here.

As a backdrop for my floral/ribbon treatment, I used one of the dies from Spellbinders Fancy Tags 2.  It has 3 really pretty fancy tags in a size a bit larger than  its predecessor.

I used 1/2″  Wrinkled Ribbon in Fuchsia for the bow, made on the Bow Easy, and topped it with a few of Prima’s Fairytale Roses (Orchid and Buttercup).  A couple Hot Pink Kaisercraft Rhinestones finish it off with a bit of glitz.
