Stamp Simply with PRIMA Blog Hop
Welcome to The Stamp Simply with PRIMA Blog Hop. Prima has captured ours hearts and we wanted to share some of our creations with you. Personally, I have used and loved all the Prima flowers and embellishments for years, but I have just started using the Prima papers and they rank right up there with those gorgeous embellishments. I have stocked Prima 6×6 pads in six different themes and I have12 x 12 packs in some of those themes, along with a myriad of flowers and embellishments allowing for the creation of perfectly coordinated projects.
A bit about those 6×6 pads – I love the quality of the paper. Each pad has 48 one-sided sheets in beautifully coordinated patterns, and at only $4.99 per pad these papers are an exceptional value. Hope you enjoy what we’ve created with them today.
Our design team has seen some changes over the summer with designers coming and going, moving, taking time off, etc. LINDA DUKE is back playing with us today (always a treat!) and we also welcome a talented designer many of you will recognize from her wide array of team positions – a warm welcome to TAMMY HERSHBERGER who is also serving as a guest today! And several regulars are with us today as well – links will follow.
I made 2 very different cards for today. As much as I am inclined to always make things in coordinated sets, I wanted to show you some of the different prints in the pad I used, so I went in two different directions today.
Both cards today use papers from Prima’s Annalee 6×6 pad.
This card is 6.5″ x 4.75″ and fits perfectly inside an A6 Clear Box — perfect for protection at home until you give the card and giving a card in a Clear Box makes a HUGE statement! Fun to do! The Clear Boxes are also mailable.
The ribbon flower is from Prima’s Gatsby Collection – Peace.
The 100% Silk Ribbon in white was pleated by hand using Scor-tape and 1/8″ Silk Ribbon was used for the trailing flower tails.
This is the card inside, made to coordinate with the card front. The Mr. and Mrs. from the card front, as well as the inside sentiment, are from JustRite’s Nested Wedding Sentiments, a very well-used stamp set in my stamproom. It requires the Clear Rectangle Stampers for use.
My second card to showcase the Annalee 6×6 Pad is a sympathy card. I love the vintage prints/colors for sympathy cards.
This card is 5.75″x 4.5″, made to perfectly fit inside an A2 Clear Box. I’ve been enjoying making my cards to perfectly fit inside the Clear Boxes, so they are just a bit larger than standard sizes.
Flower is from Prima’s Angelica Rose Collection – Jewel.
Leaves are from Prima’s Four Seasons Velvet Leaves.
Ribbon is 1/8″ Velvet – Pink, by May Arts.
Die is from Spellbinders Fancy Tags Two.
Rhinestones are by Kaisercraft – Split Pea.
Both inside and outside sentiments are from another long-time favorite set — JustRite’s Sympathy Nested Sentiments, also requiring the Clear Rectangle Stamper for use.
Ink used on both cards, giving crisp, clear sentiments is VersaFine Onyx Black.

I’m a new one to posting replies but have to say that I especially love the wedding card with the beautiful ribbon. The bow is so neat. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the simple elegance of the first card and the colors are wonderful together. I just designed a sympathy card using the layout of the 2nd card and I love how it turned out. Thank you for offfering the blog candy… I have to make my self not make many of the cards I do in those colors and everything that is offered in the Mystery Blog candy makes my heart sing!!!!

I had to take a hard look at your sympathy card. Guess I’m old fashioned and my tastes for those cards are of a solemn nature. After viewing your card for a while I realized why not a
colorful card especially something floral? I’ve changed my attitude and decided to make a few “new” sympathy cards to have on hand. At my age (old) you never know when you’ll need something to lighten the mood and think good thoughts celebrating one’s life.
