Stamp Simply LaBlanche Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamp Simply LaBlanche Bog Hop.  We have all been smitten with the beautiful images that LaBlanche is known for, so today we wanted to showcase some of our favorites for you.  LaBlanche stamps are highly detailed images, silicone stamps mounted on white foam, and they stamp beautifully and clean up easily.  Can’t ask for anything more!

And yes, there is Blog Candy, shown above, but we’ll get to that at the end of the post.  First, here’s my project:

Today I created two thank you cards in papers/colors well suited for the coming autumn season.

Both cards use 6×6 Paper by Prima Reflections, a fabulous pad with rich colors for autumn.

Both cards are a favorite size of mine – 6.5″ x 4.75″ .  These fit perfectly in an A6 Clear Box where they are perfectly protected from the moment I finish them.  And the Clear Boxes add a huge WOW factor when cards are presented in them!

The focal image and sentiments on both cards are stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed with an older SU copper embossing powder I had on hand.  I love the exquisite look of these detailed images when embossed — very impressive, yet very quick and easy!  There are also many sheets in the pad I used today that would call for gold embossing rather than copper.

This beautiful image embossed in copper is LaBlanche’s Vine Swirl.

All LaBlanche stamps can be seen here.

The circle sentiment is from JustRite’s original ribbed You’re So Sweet, requiring the 2″ Round Stamper.

Ice Blue Rhinestones by Kaisercraft dress up the sentiment circle.

3D Foam Squares are used to pop up the layers.

The bow is 1.5″ Silky Crushed Ribbon in Rust by May Arts, made on the Bow Easy.

1.5″ Metallic Crochet Lace in Copper by May Arts was tied around the bow knot, giving me some metallic tails to tie in with the copper embossing.

The double flowers coordinate with the paper pad — Prima’s Essentials 10Reflections.

The brad used was from an old SU Hodgepodge Hardware box.

I use Aleene’s Tacky Glues (superstores or craft stores) to adhere these large bows — either Fast Grab or Clear Gel.  When the bow treatment is this large you do have to press it down with your fingers and hold for a bit, and then it does take a bit of time to dry, but once dry it is on forever, super tight, and that’s what I want!

I like to do my inside’s as well, but I like to keep them simple so there’s room to write.  These are just coordinating sheets from the same pad.

This image also embossed in copper is LaBlanche’s Leaves Art.

All LaBlanche stamps can be seen here.

The sentiment is from JustRite’s Just Because Set.  I’ve been totally addicted to all these mini sentiment sets by JustRite — they always seem to fit perfectly wherever you need them!  The original mini sentiment set is the Happy Everything Tag Making Kit  (a kit with stamps, stampers and dies), and there are several sets made to coordinate and work with it — the Just Because Set  I used today, the Halloween Mini Sentiments and Christmas Mini Sentiments.  The mini sentiments can be used with the clear stampers in the Happy Everything Tag Making Kit or with the small Clear Mini Sentiment Stamper.

The sentiment on this card was cut with a die from Spellbinders Fancy Tags.

Lippy Red Rhinestones by Kaisercraft glitz up the tag.

This bow treatment is the same as on the first card, only I used the 1.5″ Silky Crushed Ribbon in Brown and I used a button from my stash rather than a brad.  Burlap String is run through the button holes – Natural.

And here’s the inside of this card — again very plain so it can easily be written in — using more sheets from the same pad, Reflections, a 6×6 Pad by Prima.

Ordering items from a coordinated collection is a sure-fire way to have your projects coordinate beautifully.  You can see all the coordinates to the Reflections Collection here.

All items used on these projects are available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked above.
