The 12 Days of a Clean and Simple Christmas – Stamp Simply Style

Hi everyone! Welcome to Day 1 of  The 12 Days of a Clean and Simple Christmas – Stamp Simply Style.  This ongoing series will feature cards that are CAS (clean and simple), making it quick and easy to recreate them or even mass produce them for the Christmas season.  Likewise, our posts will be short and sweet as well — nothing to bore you or take up a lot of time — just sharing some ideas for CAS Christmas creations!  Hope you’ll join us for this 12 days series.

Here’s  my easy, peasy Christmas card creations for today.

All cards are standard A2 sized — 4.25 x 5.5″.

All cards use the same supplies — the NEW Christmas Collection by Melissa Frances — DECK THE HALLS.

All Melissa Frances products in stock can be seen here.  She has such a beautiful and delicate vintage style

1/4″ 100%  Silk in Burgundy was used for all bows — made on the Bow Easy.  The Olive silk also coordinates well with this paper pad.

Using the coordinating tags as the focal image always makes for a quick and easy card.

Check out the DARLING banners to coordinate with this set — SO cute, trendy and vintage!

Again, the Deck the Halls collection can be seen here.

The next 2 cards are fancied up JUST a bit, but are still super easy and quick to make .  I just added the lace by Melissa Frances, secured on with Scor Tape.

Adding just one single Rhinestone gives it just a touch of glitz, perfect for a CAS creation.  Lippy Red is a good color to coordinate with burgundy shades.

As to the card insides, these are blank for now, but that was not my intent.  We have been having really high winds for several days, and last night as I was trying to finish up  my cards, get the photos done, edited and the post written, the power started flickering on and off — my fear was of a power outage making me unable to complete my work on this post, so I forgot about the insides and just moved on to my photos, trying to beat mother nature in the event there was an outage.

The insides were to have been stamped with some of the sentiments from Christmas Nested Sentiments by JustRite.  This was my go-to set of Christmas sentiments last year and I’m so sad to see it has been retired by JustRite.  I still love it and find many applications for it both on card fronts and card insides.  When my product in stock is depleted, it’s gone  as I can’t get any more — so sorry.   It requres the Clear Rectangle Stampers for use, being a part of JustRite’s original line of ribbed interlocking products.

 And that’s it for today.

All items are available at The Stamp  Simply Ribbon Store, as linked above.

Across the nation children are playing futsal. Futsal is a quick paced soccer game, played five on a side, and on an indoor gym. It teaches balance, motor ability, agility and co-ordination, ball mastery, accurate cheap cleats and quick passing and receiving, perception insight and awareness. Games will be played on Saturday mornings at the middle dchool gymnasium. Participants will receive a team t-shirt. Athletic or indoor soccer shoes nike soccer cleats required. Shinguards are cvfcvftfgd highly recommended. Each team needs one parent coach.
