The 12 Days of a Clean and Simple Christmas – Stamp Simply Style – Day Seven

Welcome to Day 7 of The 12 Days of a Clean and Simple Christmas – Stamp Simply Style.  So happy to have you stop in!

I consider the cards I made for today some of the absolute easiest and quickest to make when it comes to mass producing, and I think you’ll agree.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I started stamping years ago JUST to learn to make cards that looked like this.  I loved the look then, and I still do — and I also appreciate how quick and easy they are to make, yet lending a classy appearance.   These cards are absolutely flat for mailing.

The paper on both cards is SU Very Vanilla and Mirror Cardstock in Gold.

This card is 5.5″ square and the wreath square and mat are cut with square Nestabilities.

The wreath stamp is a wood mount by Rubber Soul/Wordsworth — so pretty — called Wreath.

Image is stamped with Versa Mark and embossed with Super Fine Embossing Powder.

I’m still using my home made embossing buddy as my purchaed one is still *temporarily misplaced*.  And I’m really loving my version, almost better than the store-boughts because I made it bigger (easier to hang on to plus its not as easy to loose).  To make one just put 1/4 cup corn starch in a white cotton sock and tie off with a heavy rubber band.  Works fabulously.

This card is standard 4.25 x 5.5″ — same supplies as above, with the exception of the stamp — this uses another wood mount stamp by Rubber Soul/Wordsworth called Merry Christmas 2.

As I do not have Nesties in the shape I needed for this sentiment, this sentiment panel and gold mat are merely cut at the paper cutter.

Here’s a closer view of Merry Christmas 2 — a very pretty stamp.

And that does it for today!

If you missed the beginning of this 12 day series, please feel free to scroll back to the first 6 days.

There are a variety of Rubber Soul/Wordsworth stamps that would work very well for cards of this nature.

The Penny Black stamps also work well for this stype of card.

All items used are available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked above.
