The 12 Days of a Clean and Simple Christmas – Stamp Simply Style – Day Nine

Welcome!  It’s hard to believe it’s Day 9 already of our clean and simple Christmas projects.  Time sure flies when you’re having fun!  And fun is surely what I had making this trio of cards for today:

Very CAS and very white — refreshing!

These cards are a standard 4.25 x 5.5″, tent fold.

The paper used is Father Christmas 6×6  by Bo Bunny.

All Bo Bunny coordinates can be seen here.

These cards are fun to make.  I like the importance placed upon the simple focal panel with the wide matting.  I could sit and put together these little panels for hours — kind of mindless work with pretty paper — right up my alley — LOL!!!  And to have a pile of these little panels  in front on you, ready to apply to cards — ooohhh, good feeling!!!

To create the focal panel, cut a cardstock piece 3.25  x 4.5″ to decorate.  I used 2 coordinating prints and covered the seam with 1″ Grograin with Satin Edge in white, using Scor Tape.

The Believe sentiment is a wood mount stamp by Rubber Soul/Wordsworth.  It is cut with a Charm Die made by Spellbinders for JustRite.  This die set coordinates with many JustRite Cling Stamps, but I used it alone today — fun die set.

Click here to see the JustRite Stamp Sets that are made to work with the Charm Dies.

There is a single Rhinestone atop the ornament charm in Lippy Red.  I almost put 1/4″ Silk bows on the ornaments in burgundy.  They looked adorable, but in keeping with the theme of CAS, quick and easy, I opted to go for the single rhinestone instead!  The ornaments are popped up with 3D Foam Squares.

And there you have it — a CAS, quick and easy Christmas card trio.

All items used are available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked above.

  13. Hi Sharon~

These are great! At first I thought you took the time to put brads into the ornament shapes. I love that they are rhinestones. These are beautiful yet simple cards! They are now on my list of cards to make!

    Thank you so much!
