The 12 Days of a Clean and Simple Christmas – Stamp Simply Style – Day Eleven

Welcome to Day 11 of still more clean and simple Christmas cards. We are so glad to have you and if you are just joining us, please feel free to scroll back to catch the first 10 days!

I got in some brand NEW paper that was just SO pretty, I had to use it right away — and adding sparkly snowflakes to it was just the ticket. Take a look:

Aren’t these papers just heavenly! I thought so. They are from BoBunny’s new Snowfall Collection 6×6. Beautiful blues and browns in snowflake prints with vintage flair make this pad totally irresistible!

All Bo Bunny product in stock can be seen here.

All cards are a standard 4.25 x 5.5″ and flat for mailing — just one tiny rhinestone lump in the envelopeand here’s a hint to help conceal that little lump. Cut a sheet of lighter weight cardstock and run it through your crimper if you have one, creating a corrugated sheet to place on top of your card in the envelope — does a great job of concealing that little rhinestone lump. Even placing a flat sheet of cardstock over the card helps!

The Merry Christmas sentiment is available as a single wood mount stamp called Script Merry Christmasor it is also included as one of the stamps in a clear setcalled Classic Christmas, both by Wordsworth. Both versions are currently at reduced pricing.

All Rubber Soul/Wordsworth stamps in stockcan be seen here.

I love the rich brown on this sheet, a perfect backdrop for the sparkly snowflake.

The snowflake is cut from white cardstock with a Spellbinders Die, Snowflake Wonder, currently at reduced pricing.

Other snowflake dies available are Create-a-Flake Three and 2011 Snowflake Pendant.

Once cut I applied a Kaisercraft Rhinestone in Bronzeto the center and then covered the snowflake with glue using a wide tipped glue pen, sprinkling with Ultra-fine Translucent Crystal Glitter. The simple thrill of adding glitter to a project remains the same whether you are in kindergarten or well beyond!!! LOL!!! Fun stuff!!!

There are so many pretty sheets in this pad — you’ve only seen a hint of them in these 3 cards, but you can get a good idea of the color scheme and overall design/feel. This snowflake die also came from Snowflake Wonder.

I always use VersaFine Onyx Black Ink for crisp, clear sentiments.

All items used are available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked above.

Love all of your cards! I never could do that cluttered look, I’m just not good at making that look well put together in any way (and my house is proof LOL!). So it’s nice to see someone doing the simplified look with such glorious results. I really do love the colors in these, again a nice change from your traditional Christmas colors, and the single snowflake is great!
