The 12 Days of a Clean and Simple Christmas – Stamp Simply Style – Day Twelve

Welcome to Day 12, our last day of The 12 Days of a Clean and Simple Christmas.  I’ve had so much fun creating clean and simple, quick and easy cards for Christmas that I hate for this to end.  If you are joining us late and care to go back and and check out the projects,  a link to this series can be found on my left sidebar, right near the top of Categories, so it’s only a click away.

I am ending this series on a super easy note as I created a trio of no stamp cards — what could be quicker!  Take a look:

For this trio I used paper from Graphic 45’s Christmas Emporium 8×8.  The fun thing about this pad is that it contains a ton of cutouts, giving you the option to create any number of projects as I have created today.  But if cutouts aren’t for you, being two-sided paper, the reverse side of the cutouts  are beautiful holiday prints — so it’s a win/win paper pad no matter your preference.

I do have other items to coordinate with the Christmas Emporium Collection, adding even further to your ability to create easily with these wonderful coordinated embellishments.

This card is 5.5″ square.  On all the cards today I have used the Mirror Cardstock in gold to create my piping strip.

This fun vinatage image cut from the pad is matted with ivory cardstock and popped up with 3D Foam Squares.  You can certainly keep this totally flat for mailing if that is your preference.  It’s hard to see in the photo, but a  little glitz was added to Santa’s hair and fur trim with a Quickie Glue Pen and Ultra Fine Translucent Crystal Glitter.

This card is a standard 4.25 x 5.5″ tent fold card created with all the same supplies listed above.

To add a bit of glitz to this image, I used Kaisercraft Rhinestones in red for the berries.  Just a little touch, but it really adds a lot.

This card is also a standard 4.25 x 5.5″ card with a book fold for a change.

On this card I added both red rhinestones to the sleigh and glitter to Santa.

All items used are available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked above.

Thanks for all of the inspiration. I will probably use a few of these ideas as I will need to keep my card making on the simple side this year due to recent shoulder surgery which has limited my movements. All of the cards have been lovely.

  9. Hi Sharon~

Thank you for showing us these very CAS but very elegant cards. I love the ones you stamped with “mirror” paper. You must have cut the inside out with an exacto knife. I wonder if it would work as well to use embossing powder to make the shape and the sentiment? I could do that. I don’t have many Spellbinder’s yet.

I also love the cards you made with Vintage paper. They are just lovely. And, it looks like you may have put a strip of the “mirror” paper here and there between the layers. It’s a beautiful touch. I wonder if that set of papers is mostly Santas. I guess my major question is do you have a 6×6 pad that is not all Santa Christmas…but more of a Christ-filled Christmas…or family and decorations like wreaths or trees or music? These are great “emergency go-to” cards for people who show up unexpectedly and you didn’t send them a card. They make great cards for anyone, actually!
