NEW Items, SALE Items and a Winner!

I have much to share today so let’s begin with the WINNER from last Saturday’s Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Style. The featured ribbon was Twill, and the lucky winner from Saturday was

Carla Suto

Congrats! Carla.  Carla was chosen from Deb’s Blog and has already written to claim her prize. It’ll be mailed out tomorrow, Carla!  Thanks to Carla and all the others who played along!  Your participation is MUCH appreciated!

Now on to some NEW product!  That’s always fun.

I just stocked the store with some NEW Christmas Wood Mount Stamps by Penny Black — always good choices!!!  I used one of them today for this duo of cards:

Same card, just different colors and papers.

Christmas cards should be EASY — and these are.

NEW stamp – Tree Treasure Wood Mount by Penny Black

Sentiment – Merry Christmas 2  Wood Mount by Wordsworth

The cardstock is SU Very Vanilla and the designer paper is from Kaisercraft’s December 25th.

(HINT:  If you like a bargain, Kaisercraft’s Dear Santa is still in stock in very limited supply and at reduced prices.  It offers the same type of papers Kaisercraft is known for and makes into great Christmas cards!)

My piping strip is made with Mirror CardstockGold.

Both cards use Versa Mark Ink,  Super Fine Embossing Powder (gold, silver), my homemade embossing buddy, my Heat Gun and 3D Foam Squares.

This classic black and white designer paper is from a pad that is not even remotely a Christmas pad — but I loved the paper and thought it would go well with the Mirror Cardstock Silver Silk.

The pad is a new 6×6 from Bo Bunny called Enchanted — beautiful black and white classic designs so usable for any number of occasions.

All new product recently loaded in to the store can be seen here.

All items used are available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked above.

Kaisercraft MDF Alterables on SALE!

They can be seen here.

This is a short-lived sale, expiring on Friday.   Until then, all Kaisercraft MDF Alterables are listed at 10% OFF.  These alterables are NOT chipboard – they are a heavier weight MDF board — very sturdy, allowing you to create quality items for gifts or home decor projects.

I’ll take the liberty of showing you a few things done in the past with these alterables:

The Bauble Ornament and Stocking I did last year.

A banner Deb did last year using the Bauble Ornament.

And here’s a little secret — see the center portion — the Bauble Ornament part?  Deb made dozens of those as individual ornaments last year for gifts to all the teachers and staff from her husband (then the superintendent).  Can you imagine how fun it must have been when they ALL got one!!!  (A VERY practical and affordable gift to give!)

Actually, Barb made a lot of them too, but I can’t find her pictures right now — I’ll add them if I do find them.

Deb made her own banner pieces above, but there are now some PENNANT banners in the MDF available.

Here’s a Stocking Garland that Deb made.  Five stockings come in a pack.

This is a pin cushion and Ribbon Reel I made — it’s hard to see the Ribbon Reel under all that ribbon.

And here’s a shot of the Advent Calender that Barb made — looking down into it — read more here.

This year’s Christmas Collection by K & Company is called Visions of Christmas.  The 12 x 12 pad has many sheets with large focal images similar to what Barb used last year for the center of the box — gorgeous papers by K & Company, as always.

Be waiting — Barb is working on another Advent Calender and several other of these MDF alterables as well.  We’ll share as soon as they are completed.

The SALE on Kaisercraft MDF Board Alterables expires on Friday.

All Kaisercraft MDF Board Alterables can be seen here.

Thank YOU for stopping in and have a great end of the week (it’s SNOWING here right now!!!!)

See you soon.

    Sharon,
As usual your cards are “SIMPLY” BEAUTIFUL — and you are not the last to get on FACEBOOK
I was forced to join and start replying to my son on the west coast —- not to sure if I like it or not.
Question: On the Wordsworth stamp =Merry Christmas — is there something wrong with the “C” in Christmas —it does not look like a complete curve to the “C” === Thanks for sharing your talent for quick, clean and simple.

    • Sharon says:

Hi Pat: No, there is nothing wrong with the C — yes, there is a spot missing — that is how the scripted sentiment was designed — perhaps that would bother some, but not me — this is my favorite Merry Christmas stamp — it’s lovely, elegant and vintage — all in one! And with it’s long narrow lines it always fits onto a card nicely. Sharon

Hi Sharon: Once again you’ve shown that simple can be beautiful. Thank you. Don’t worry, you’re not the last on Facebook. I’m still of the school that says either a direct email or, hmmm, a phone call …. lol.

  6. Wow! You are giving us an Encore to the 12 CAS Days of Christmas. These are beautiful, Sharon. And, thank you for the little trip down last year’s memory lane…by sharing banners and projects from earlier.

And, you are not the last to get FB. I am still holding out. I will join, however, when my son is allowed to use the computer and FB all of our family members at once. It took him joining the Air Force to make me consider using FB! LOL

OH—and LOVE the striped ribbon…so beautiful in different colors! I wouldn’t have thought of it in colors other than peppermint red, or pink candy pink! I love the colors…especially the green and black!

I can’t wait for another Saturday!
