CAS 3×3 Tags
Today I have a trio of gift tags that you can make in less than 5 minutes — all 3 of them, truly! And as an added bonus, you can likely use up your scraps to do so.
Clean and white, quick and easy.
A little word about gift tags. I LOVE to make them and I know many of you do as well. They are just fun to make, no two ways about it. It’s fun to work on a small canvas and use all the pretty papers available and add all the bells and whistles to really deck out our tags. BUT — unless you have coordinated it ahead of time with your wrapping paper or gift bags, how often do you end up with a box full of GORGEOUS TAGS that don’t go with any wrapping paper on the face of this earth? Well, maybe that’s never happened to you but — well, just ask me how I know — LOL!!!
To avoid the above scenario I like to make my gift tags in basically white or ivory or some designer paper that goes with brown postal wrap (which I often use as gift wrap). Today I went white.
Todays tags are little 3×3″ cards. When ready to use I apply double sided tape to the back of the card and adhere right to my wrapped box. I can write on the inside and my neutral tag doesn’t compete with any of the paper I might have. Using a rhinestone color to coordinate with your paper is fun.
The stamp used today is called Ornaments by Penny Black. It’s small and perfect!
Another bonus, the largest of the rhinestones on the Kaisercraft Rhinestone cards is the exact size of the ornaments in the stamp. When I use rhinestones, I always seem to use the smaller ones and the larger ones get left — so this is a wonderful way to use up a lot of those largest rhinstones!
The ink used is VersaFine Onyx Black.
The rectangle Nestie cut image is popped up on 3D Foam Squares.
And there you have it — a 5 minute trio of tags.

Editing to Add: Have you seen the DARLING mini albums Barb has made for her grandchildren? The Moms will fill them with Christmas photos as a keepsake for when they are older.

Sharon, These are super. I’ve been a fan of the 3×3 cards for awhile now. Aside from being great gift tags, I like tiny size for slipping into school backpacks ( I have two teenage girls) or even a briefcase. My girls enjoy little “love notes” from me or words of encouragement.
I agree, the small canvas is fun to work on.
