Newborn Baby Boy

Published by at 11 11 pm under Baby Cards,Bow Easy,Gift Card Holders,Kaiser

Today we enjoyed a traditional turkey dinner with my side of the family at a local restaurant (oh, SO easy!) and tomorrow we will be spending time with Steve’s side of the family where we will get the chance to see for the first time our latest brand new great-nephew.  I made this card for him:

It’s another no stamp card made from Kaisercraft’s Lullaby pad.  With the cutouts offered in this pad it is SO easy to throw a card together quickly, as I did here.  And I’ve said it before and I just have to say it again – this is my all time FAVORITE baby pad because the prints are SO grown up and beautiful, but they fit the baby theme just perfectly!  Well done, Kaisercraft — VERY well done!  Suits me to a T!!!  And I love the 6.5″ size allowing me to completely cover this size card.

This card is a bit larger at 6.5″ x 4.75″.  I make them this size so they fit perfectly into an A6 Clear Box, both for protection and for impressive gift presentation.  The box is just perfectly wide enough at 5/8″ to fit my larger bows and elevated panels.  These boxes (available in 3 sizes) make it SO easy to give cards with more bulk.  They are also perfectly mailable and come with round clear seals for the ends.

Ribbon by May Arts:  5/8″ Pleated Satin in White; 1″ Stitched Satin in Blue

Spellbinders Die:  Lacey Squares

Bow was made with the original Bow Easy.

I have created a pocket on the inside for cash, check or gift card.  It’s just another piece of the designer paper adhered with Scor Tape on the 2 sides and bottom, creating a handy pocket.  You can also see in this photo how I’ve wrapped the ribbon around the card front – Scor Tape makes this super easy and it never slips out of place.

And here’s the card in it’s own A6 Clear Box, ready to give.

Again, once I’m showing you a baby card from this pad, let me take the liberty of showing you a few other baby cards made from this same pad — it’ll show you a few more sheets in the pad.  The cards all bear great similarity — my apologies — but it works for me — all quick and easy!

May Arts Ribbon:  1.5″ Pleated Satin, 5/8″ Crochet Lace, 1/8″ Silk, 1.5″ Silky Crushed

May Arts Ribbon:  1″ Stitched Satin, Melissa Frances Lace, 1/2″ Wrinkled Ribbon

May Arts Ribbon:  1.5″ Pleated Satin, 3/8″ Striped Grosgrain, 1″ Stitched Satin

All items used are available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked above.

These are so beautiful! But did I miss the part where you said where the sentiments came from? Are they stamps or did they come as part of the paper pack too?
