Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Style – Tags
Welcome to another regular Saturday feature of Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Style. Today we are all creating tags. They so SO much fun to make and useful, too! Here are the tags I made for today:
I had fun using up odds and ends of scraps from my Silly Season pad by Kaisercraft. This pad has a lot of fun prints and patterns in pinks, greens and reds — totally FUN.
For each tag I cut a piece of cardstock 5.5″ x 2.5″, covered the tag with 2 coordinating prints, clipped the upper corners with a corner punch (this one is ancient and no longer available to the best of my knowledge), punched a hole at center top, then added ribbon. The To/From sentiment is from Winter Words, a clear set by JustRite.
The ribbons used are all by May Arts:
1/2″ Wrinkled Ribbon in Red, Fuchsia and Parrot Green
1.5″ Striped Grosgrain in Celery/White and Pink/White
1.5″ Gingham in Celery/White, Pink/White and Red/White
Totally FUN to do (and quick!). These could be done for any occasion with the appropriate paper. Combining a variety of prints and patterns is something I always enjoy doing!
Scor Tape is used to keep the 1/2″ Wrinkled Ribbon from slipping down.
Nothing fancy — nothing time consuming — just FUN! Kids might enjoy doing these, putting together various paper and ribbons.
All items used are available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked above.

Today’s blog candy is an assortment of holiday colored ribbon – 3 yards each of the above checks and stripes in 1.5″ and 3/8″, for a total of 36 yards of ribbon for your holiday crafting!
In the Gingham colors are: Red/Black, Red/White, Red/Green
In the Stripes colors are: Hunter/Ivory, Red/Green, Burgundy/Ivory
This is a Mystery Blog Candy, meaning the winner will be drawn from comments on one of today’s participating blogs, so leaving a comment on each blog will greatly increase your chances of winning, but only one comment per blog, please. The winner will be selected at 6 p.m. Eastern time on Tuesday, November 29 and will be posted here on my blog on Wednesday.
You must check back to claim your prize if you are the lucky winner!
Good luck!
Please enjoy tag creations by these creative designers:

Editing to add:
As a follow-up to Barb’s post using the premade tags from pads — I have many still available — they are all found under Paper/Other Sizes. They are available by K & Company, Kaisercraft, and Melissa Frances.
Hope that helps you to locate them — fun little pads, for sure!

Last night I had a brainstorm to make scripture tags for memorization to give to some ladies in my church group. I started making the tags just using black ink on white paper and they are stunning alone. But wanted to add a cover for them…this idea is perfect!! Thanks so much for sharing, Sharon. Love how bright and colorful these are!!
Your tags are adorable and look fairly easy to copy. Just bought that paper from you and will get going on it today. Thanks for the inspiration. Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving.
