Webster’s Pages for Sympathy Cards

Today I wanted to start a stash of sympathy cards.  I have none left and unfortunately needed so many in the recent past.  I only got one done today, but one is good — it’s a start.

I pulled out a beautiful paper pad by Webster’s Pages and saw so many sheets that would be beautiful for sympathy cards (among other types, of course!) so I found one that would make a quick and easy card.  I took advantage of the beautiful artwork on the Webster’s Pages sheet and added a sentiment from my new favorite sympathy set by Justrite and it did make up super quickly.  Take a look:

Paper Pad: 6×6 Triple Pack by Webster’s Pages  - Let’s Celebrate,/All About Me/Western Romance

All coordinates to this paper pad can be seen here and here.

All Webster’s pages product can be seen here (some is on sale).

Sentiment:  With Sympathy Clear Stamp Set by JustRite

Dies:  Labels Four and Labels Four Small by Spellbinders

This card is a standard 5.5 x 4.25″, fitting into an A2 Clear Box both for protection and presentation

The ribbon used is 1″ Sheer – Black.  To make this bow I took a length of ribbon, hand tied a bow right in the center and then wrapped the long tails around the panel and adhered on the back.

The roses are Prima Fairytale Roses in French White with a bit of color added with the Copic, then I added a bit of glue with a Sakura Quickie Glue Pen and sprinkled on some Ultra-Fine Translucent Glitter.

A word about the Fairytale Roses — I know so many of you love and use them just as much as I do.  They are no longer available from Prima, so when my supply is gone, it’s gone.  There are, and will continue to be, lots of other roses to choose from, but the Fairytale Roses will be gone once my supply is gone.

The stamp set and dies are linked a few pictures up.

I added Kaisercraft Pearls in Black to the clock center and my sentiment.

I used the glue pen and glitter again on the flower center, both linked a few pictures up.

VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and 3D Foam Squares were also used.

These are some more of the sheets available in the same pad - Let’s Celebrate/All About Me/Western Romance.  Aren’t they gorgeous!  That soft peachy/pinky color is a perfect match to my May Arts Silk Ribbon in Champagne.  That is probably my favorite silk color of them all!

This is a card I’ve shown in a blog post a few months back, but I’m showing it here again only because it is made from the same pad I’m using today.  Just wanted to show you the variety and options in this pad.  If you care to read more about this card, you can on this blog post.

This is the With Sympathy Clear Set by JustRite.  It’s a fabulous set to have on hand for sympathy cards with the beautiful floral and a variety of sentiments in various sizes that can be used inside the oval frame designed for them.  And YES, there is a die made for the frame in this set:

This is the Nested Oval Medallion Labels Die made by Spellbinders for JustRite.  It coordinates with several of the JustRite sets in addition to With Sympathy, Easter Blessings, Just Keep Calm, Oceanside Oval Medallions and At the Beach Oval Medallions.

One doesn’t usually think of a sympathy set for much else other than sympathy cards, but this set with it’s variety of sentiments works well for general purpose thinking of you cards and even Valentine cards.  Here are two cards I made from With Sympathy with Valentine’s Day in mind.
