Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Style – Coffee, Tea or Me?

Welcome!  Today  we are having fun with those preferred beverages of so many of us — coffee and tea.  I am hopelessly addicted to both — I drink coffee all morning and then in the early afternoon I switch to ice tea.  I’ve never been much of a hot tea fan, but I LOVE all the delicate and beautiful tea cups and saucers.  In fact, I have a fairly large collection of beautiful tea cups and saucers, but in this farm house they have been used for many generations to drink coffee.   Today they get little use, other than to adorn my china cabinets.  It’s those good sized mugs that get the daily use — LOL!

Please note that we have added a Coffee/Tea category to the store.  It can be found under Occasions.  Hope you find it useful!

For my card today I went with a pretty tea cup theme:

So much FUN to make!  The tea cup was cut with Spellbinders Nested Tea Cups die.

I used the NEW Webster’s Pages products for all the pretties from the In Love Collection:

6×6 Pad – Triple Pack – In Love/Palm Beach, Game On

The cardstock used is SU Very Vanilla and Blush Blossom.

The card is 5.5″ square and will be kept from harms way and for gifting in a 5.5″ Square Clear Box.

The cameo is from Perfect Accents – In Love

The white ruffly tulle trim and the heart embroidered trim are both included in the In Love Trim Card (they are adhered with Scor Tape , 1/8 and 1/4″)

The bow is of 1.25″ Silk in Champagne, made on the Bow Easy

The stamp set used for the tea bag tag and sentiment is Cup of Life by Verve

The string for the tag is Divine Twine Baker’s Twine in Oyster – I added a staple

The cup and tag are elevated with 3D Foam Squares

The bow and cameo are adhered with Aleene’s glue from superstores – hold and press until the glue grabs, once dry, it’ll never come off!

As always, I used paper from the same pad to do the card inside – 3 different sheets were used here.

And that does it for today’s card – hope you like it!

The In Love Collection by Webster’s Pages can be seen here.

All items used are available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked above.
