A Sketch, New Stamps and a Winner!

LOTS to cover today!  We’ll begin with the winner from this past Saturday’s Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Style Hop.  We were creating cards with Father in mind.  You can still check out our posts if a masculine theme interests you. This week the winner was chosen from right here on my blog, and random.org selected number 15 who is:

Colleen Horner

And here’s what Colleen had to say:

Yep, I love these cards. Today’s is so purrrrrfect for Father’s Day. Now I will have to buy DH a new pair of jeans so I will have a tag to make a card for him for F’s D.
Oh yes and place the order for the kit!

Well Colleen, you don’t have to order the kit because it is coming your way.  To claim your prize, just email me at [email protected] with your mailing address and I’ll get this fun masculine kit mailed off to you.

Thanks to you, Colleen, for playing along and to everyone else who played as well.  We enjoy when you paticipate, so THANK YOU!

Next I have a card to share.  I loved the sketch Holly came up with for this week’s Sketch Challenge at SCS, so I took that opportunity to make a wedding card.  I sat down with the kids a few weeks back to make a list of weddings everyone had been invited to.  I need 8 wedding cards thus far for this summer, so I’d better get busy.  One down -  7 to go!

You can find the Sketch Challenge #383 over at SCS here.

Holly hosted the Sketch Challenge this week and she made a GORGEOUS card using products from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. Be sure to check this beauty out over at Holly’s Blog.

OK, now on to my wedding card:

It was a fun sketch!

All the stamps used are by JustRite and all the pretties are by Webster’s Pages.

See the beautiful background in the peachy/pinky/champagne color?  That is JustRite’s Elegant Fronds Background stamped with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Tattered Rose onto SU Blush Blossom Cardstock.  SO gorgeous!

The designer paper is all from Webster’s Pages 6×6 pad – In Love/Palm Beach/Game On.  This paper is also availalbe in a 12×12 Kit.

All of the beautiful Webster’s 6×6 pads can be seen here.

The satin embroidered hearts are one of the trims included in the In Love Trim Card.

All of the beautiful Webster’s Pages Trim Cards in stock can be seen here. Several are at reduced prices.

So much fun stuff here!

The cameo is included in the In Love Perfect Accents.

All embellishment packages by Webster’s can be seen hereAgain, some are at reduced prices.

The stick pin is a Petal Pin by Prima – Iced.

The bow is made with 1/4″ Silk — two strands (Ivory and Champagne) made on the Original Bow Easy.

The Mr. and Mrs. is from a NEW JustRite set shown below – Summer Words.

It is stamped with Versa Fine Onyx Black and cut with a NEW Spellbinders Die made for JustRite shown below – Vintage Label and Banners Die.  A 3D Foam Square was used to elevate the banner.

The narrow scallop trim is cut with a Spellbinders Edgeabilities Die – Classic Edges Two and adhered with 1/8″ Scor Tape.

All items used are available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked!
