Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Style – Kaisercraft

Welcome to another Saturday of Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Style!  Today we are all using product we love by Kaisercraft.  I had a hard time deciding which pad to use — Kaisercraft pads are always go-to pads for me — they have prints that I love — lots of flourishes, damask, florals and stripes — just a lot of pretty sheets — and each pad has many special sheets with flocking, or embossing or metallic elements, etc.  Each pad is loaded with LOTS of goodness!  Here’s what I decided on for today:

I used Charlotte’s Dream for my paper – just love the colors in this pad.

All Kaisercraft 6×6 pads can be seen here. (many pads are on sale)

All product in stock by Kaisercraft can be seen here.

This card is 6.5 x 4.75″, made that size so it perfectly fits into an A6 Clear Box, both for protection and gifting.

The cardstock used is SU Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip.

I pulled out my Spellbinders Nested Tea Cup dies again — fun set of dies that will stand the test of time — I will love this set FOREVER!  It has tea cups in 3 sizes and I’ve used the largest cup today.

All Spellbinders dies can be seen heremany are on sale.

A common question I get when showing something like this is HOW did I border it.  Easy!  Just cut 2 tea cups (the same size as the colored tea cup) out of the Chocolate Chip cardstock.  Attach to the back –one is used to border the top and the other is used to border the bottom — and yes, just cut off anything that isn’t working or sticks out!

The sentiment is from a tea set by Verve called Cup of Life.  I just stamped my sentiment onto a coordinated sheet of designer paper, straight cut the top and bottom at the paper cutter and made the fish tail end with scissors.

All Verve sets in stock can be seen here.

To dress it up I used Kaisercraft Pearls in Brown and the tea cup is elevated with 3D Foam Squares.

The ribbon used is Seam Binding in Seafoam Green.  Bows are made on the Original Bow Easy.

The flowers are by Prima — a mix of Fairytale Roses and Laraine Roses.

The string is Divine Twine Baker’s Twine in Brown.

My floral clusters are adhered together with Aleene’s Glues from superstores — very inexpensive and once dried holds super tight!

All items used are available at The Stamp Simly Ribbon Store, as linked above.

Loving learning design “tips” by viewing your creations. This time…using bakers twine as a bow accent. Perfect with the ribbon and flowers. Perfect sentiment to go with the tea cup. Lovely card!

  25. Jan says:

Oh Sharon, I adore your gorgeous tea cup card. Could you just cut one brown die of it for using the top and bottom? Your cards are sooo amazing. I’m thinking of doing a tea bag card to send as a cheer up or get well, etc.

    • Hi Jan: Yes, you certainly could, but I did two as I like my cup to be very heavy. I pop it up on dimensional square and add the ribbon and flowers, so I just like a good sturdy base. But one tea cup cut would work as well. Thanks!
