Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Style – My Mind’s Eye
Welcome to Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Style. This week the design team is creating with the lovely paper designs by My Mind’s Eye. The patterns and colors in these paper pads are just striking and make creating so easy! Combining various patterned papers is a personal favorite of mine and you’ll see some wonderful examples of that in this week’s design team creations. Here’s what I made:
This is a his/hers duo made with Breeze by My Mind’s Eye. This pad is filled with beautiful shades of greens and blues.
All items in stock by My Mind’s Eye can be seen here.
No stamps were used! I took full advantage of the paper in the pad to create my focal images – a super easy way to produce cards quickly, and who doesn’t need a super quick card every now and then (or even MOST of the time – LOL)!!!
Here is the feminine version of today’s duo.
The cardstock used is SU Very Vanilla and a green — sorry, can’t recall the name. It is not Old Olive, but just a bit lighter and brighter. I believe it was an In Color a few years back.
Both of today’s cards are a standard A2 size – 5.5 x 4.25″.
I dressed up the printed images a bit with Kaisercraft Pearls in Chocolate and Rhinestones in Split Pea.
For the ribbon treatment I used Seam Binding in Dusty Olive and Burlap String in Natural.
Bow was made on the Original Bow Easy.
My flower is from a package of Laraine Roses by Prima.
Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Tea Dye was used to edge both cards.
This is the masculine version of today’s card duo, again using Breeze paper.
The cardstock on this card is SU Very Vanilla and Not Quite Navy.
As with the first card, the image is cut from a sheet in the Breeze pad.
My simple ribbon treatment here is 5/8″ Twill in Champagne.
3D Foam Squares were used to elevate the focal image.
And that will do it for today’s quick and easy duo!
All items in stock by My Mind’s Eye can be seen here.
All items used are available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked above.

Special Notice
The Stamp Simply Designers are changing up their schedule for the summer months. Rather than having several designers all post on Saturdays, the posts will be spread throughout the week, just to allow a bit more freedom for everyone in light of their busy summer schedules. For those of you who have become accustomed to checking in every Saturday morning, no worries — we WILL have a Saturday morning post each week — and what we have to offer will be different each Saturday — perhaps we’ll run a special sale, or have a mini tutorial, or maybe even a give-away. But flexibility is the name of the game for the next 2 months. And there’s no need to worry that you’ll miss any of the designers creations as they will all be linked right here on my blog. So just stay tuned and you’ll be kept informed. Subscribe if you haven’t yet — it’s a good way to get all updates immediately!
We all love creating and showing you what we’ve done, with hopes of inspiring you in some small way. We hope you stay tuned throughout the summer and let us know what you think!
Thank you so much for your encouragement and support of The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and all the designers who work so hard behind the scenes to showcase product that is available.
Have a wonderful summer, everyone, and we’ll plan to see you real soon!

I love the cards you made, especially the blue one. I have the most difficulty making masculine cards, especially for my dear sweet hubby and my wonderful son-in-law. I hope you won’t mind if I use your design. TFS.
Such elegant cards! The masculine card is perfect! I may have to add that to my growing Pin board. Thank you for sharing.
